I wonder if — like MP10 — I will never see him in stores, or since. :???:

I don't think this will be as hard to find as MP-10 considering it's not a store exclusive.

Also, I want a white/gray repaint of legends Warpath as Slammer! That would be awesome!

To be honest, in spite of this toy's awesomeness, after recently having finally gotten the Holy Grail that is Fortress Maximus, I kinda feel less enthusiastic about this Metroplex.

If this thing actually says "Metroplex heeds the call of the last Prime" I swear I'll buy 3 of him.
It does.

Or of Legends G2 Megatron. Or of the upcoming Legends "Megatron Origin" Megatron. ;)

Where was deluxe Sparkcrusher, anyway!? maybe while they have the mold out making scamper, they can throw us a bone with that one, too.

Most of my money is on Trypticon, but I'll hold a little out for a brand new mold of Scorponok.

It would be really sweet if they retool this into Fortress Maximus, complete with a Headmaster in a Headmaster. :KREMZEEK:

Yeah, since their transformation is similar, I'd go with a heavy-retool as Fort Max! Or a completely new mold. Either one. Just do it!

For a Metrotitan redeco, am I the only one who would want it to include four Minotorons/Buffalo Dumps with it? They could even be nontransforming RPMs/Street Stars, if they wanted.

Wow! Awesomely obscure. Props.

Got any pics of them besides BuffaloDump? (That Name!)

Driving atop a platform on Metrotitan's city mode itself (there's a ramp they came down from in the background):

Where's the fun in that? I want scale accuracy. FortMax should be 10-feet tall and includes a Headmaster helmet that can be really worn by the fan who wiped out their entire life savings to buy it.

Well, if there were EVER a time to release these wild hybrid beast vehicles... it's now! If they let this moment pass, they'll probably never get a better chance.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but weren't city Transformers kinda the same size in the original cartoon? I know there were massive differences toy-wise, but what does the fiction say?

Yeah, I DO like the notion that all the city formers are roughly the same size... Max, Trypticon, Scorponok, Metroplex, Metrotitan...

That said, are there any others mentioned by name or picture? I know we saw the orange/green repaints of Metroplex in the comic. Any others?

We never saw Metroplex and Trypticon alongside Fort Max or Scorponok in the latter pair's limited screentime, so we can't say for sure.

However, The Headmasters cartoon had an episode with Metroplex standing next to Battleship Maximus, and though Metroplex certainly looked taller than the ship, Maximus looked longer if it were to stand upright next to Metroplex. But, I don't think either was shown next to one another in Robot Mode.

Most comics depict Fort Max as usually being just a bit larger than your average Autobot Leader, while Metroplex is always gargantuan in the comics.
