I know that the rights cost extra for actual car models, but it really does suck a ton of the appeal out of these for me. Probably why I prefer movie/Studio Series stuff at this point.
Legacy in general has been a big whiff for me, sadly. I grabbed the handful of Beast Wars releases and have otherwise not bothered with any of these. I just don't get who they're trying to appeal to with all these toys that don't really look like the characters they're supposed to be.

I just had a crazy thought though....and I know a LOT of fans would probably hate this. But since TT did Grand Maximus back in 2018, Hasbro could roll that mold out a 3rd time as Brave Maximus/ Rid "Fortress Maximus". Especially since it was never released in North America back in 2001 .

It is non other than Shadowstriker from the Cyberverse series and it us our first look at the figure. It is unclear if they are going for a faithful or G1-ified take since the show itself was very G1 based but what is clear is that it is innacurate in terms of composition. The theme of Shadowstriker was that she was a Frankenstein's Monster type of design with her alt mode and robot made up of various parts put together which was highlighted by her limbs having a different deco. Here however, it's all the same indigo colour. And we know this is supposed to be her after she's been experimented on since her eyes are asymetrical.
It seems she can use various parts of her alt mode as weapons and shields, making her resemble the RID Autobot brothers. You'll let us know what you think.

I'm going to make a very random guess and say in Selects by the end of the year.

Yep, and probably a retool of Jazz, but we'll see.
