I'm always a sucker for a giftset that pretty ;) . This is not the Dinoking I wanted, but it will serve as a nice companion to Core Volcanicus. Just hoping in the next few years we get a proper sized Dinoking & Monstructor.

There's been debate online about how/if the mold could be used yet again for the Pretender Monsters/Monstructor. I just don't see it. The Monster outer shells were so wildly different from the Dinoforce. If they were to do so, it would have Monstructor colors only, and the alt modes would be all wrong.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Unfortunately, the Japanese press release said that the quantities of these Expo exclusives are limited, and if there's any leftover stock still available after the Expo, it'll only be put on TakaraTomy Mall.

Guys, this is, what, our third Pulsecon now? We know the drill. It's a "virtual" convention, the toys are only available on Pulse (in the USA).

Not retooling the legs was indeed, pretty stupid. Especially not removing the tiny batwings clips. It looks like the toy is missing parts.

Saw Vector Prime at Target this morning... yeah I'm not paying full price for that even with that improved 3rd party kits.

Sadly it'll almost certainly be released again in the 13 Primes line, probably 2026.

Man, I've been dipping into a few figures from the line as a whole (and into the past a bit.)

Red Cog. Interesting enough. Would have appreciated a few more pegs to keep the bugger together in "vehicle" mode. Added guns are nice. Kinda dig the wee grey Six-Gun legs.

Botropolis Rescue Mission Set. Really like Ironworks and Airwave in these colours. Super nice. Dig the Robot and Base modes, not so sold on the battle station modes, but they tried. Micromasters are cool, though the one that's the back end of the shuttle has a bugger of a time standing. Might get more of the bigger guys, as I've always had a soft spot for Micromaster bases in general and Greasepit and Airwave in particular.

Filtch. Oh my word. What a fantastic little toy. She's perched on the Con shelf in bird mode, watching the room. The temptation to get a second for my work desk is high...

Man, these toys are fun and nicely designed.

I completely agree, Legacy Vector Prime is almost as much of an abomination as DWJformers winning two Eisners :michaelbay:

Scotty throwing so much shade, geez.
Emerje wrote:Got a shipping notice from Walmart for Canonball and Lockdown. Also got a shipping notice from Amazon for Tidal Wave so if you were hoping they were sticking to their late August release date, well, tough luck!

Emerje

Pulse also has Cannonball and Lockdown coming this week.

And I am glad I used paypal credit on Tidal Wave at BBTS, too many preorders coming in right now.

On to new bots!

I got my Ferak, and this is probably the best this mold has looked. I like the toy Cyclonus repaint, but this one is the nicest. Really smooth, I like him.

And with Mayhem on the shelf, the con shelf is looking strong

And Sandstorm makes a nice Wrecker

Image

And Legacy continues to make awesome Primes for my legendary figures shelf

Got that Target truck for the shopping cart Roller

Gobots showed up, and it's the first time I've handled the Gears and Warpath molds. Warpath mold is alright, but definitely glad I stuck to the generations one. The Gears mold is a nice robot, the alt mode sucks pretty hard, glad I kept my T30 one. But as Gobots, I like them. I have a nice squad now.

got the 4 pack, Sideburn, and Nucleus.

4 pack is pretty neat. Tarantulas is there. Cliffjumper is a really cool reuse of a mold. Tarn is much nicer in this livery. and Squeezeplay is pretty awesome. Overall, very strong set.

Also got Filch in. Very nice retool, they really did her justice!

Sideburn is a disappointment. The robot mode is much cleaner and more solid than his old toy. But the transformation is still not fun, and the alt mode is not for him. They really did manage to screw up both Shadowstriker and Sideburn. Really big shame

Nucleus is a really cool figure. I love this toy a lot. And it may have my new favorite Transformers headsculpt ever
