This is for Buzzworthy Bumblebee, as Origins Bumblebee and Jazz were.
Yep, and probably a retool of Jazz, but we'll see.

He's a Voyager.

Doesn't really mean anything these days, could just mean they included a bunch of extras or the boxy shell requires more panels than Jazz to get them all folded away. I mean just look at SS86 Ironhide, he's a Voyager yet he's shorter than the WFC Deluxe figures thanks to his parts.
Deluxe Optimus Prime probably is just an attempt to get an Optimus at a lower price point for kids. They do it all the time for the kid lines like Earthspark, Cyberverse and the like so it makes sense that they'd do one. But I do really hope it's a typo or something, there's been a few of those lately.

Considering how much they altered the looks of the Prime and TFA figures so far, I can definitely see Vector squared up and Screamer rounded off to meet in the middle as the same mold. Slap on a new head and different paint, and done.LinaNui wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:A deluxe G1 Optimus? Will they try to recreate the original G1 figure, in all plastic? Part of me thinks Vector Prime and Cybertron Starscream (also rumored for next year in the voyager class) may share a mold. I really hope not, but I could see Hasbro doing it...
Except, Cybertron Override wasn't changed in her appearance, and she had plenty of curves and rounded surfaces. Nor was Cybertron Metroplex changed too much.Rodimus Prime wrote:Considering how much they altered the looks of the Prime and TFA figures so far, I can definitely see Vector squared up and Screamer rounded off to meet in the middle as the same mold. Yeah, Metroplex is almost just a larger version of the original, right? And to me, Velocitron Override was even curvier than the original.Sabrblade wrote:Except, Cybertron Override wasn't changed in her appearance, and she had plenty of curves and rounded surfaces. I didn't think so either, I was just going with the suggestion, because it's not impossible.Plus, it wouldn't make sense to make Vector Prime and Starscream from the same mold. Their transformation schemes are too different.
I think that was just out of prejudice due to their previous releases sharing a deluxe mold.People were saying that G2 Jhiaxus and Armada Starscream would share a mold, yet they both ended up receiving their own separate molds, all for the better.
It would seem so. We'll see how lazy the design team gets the further into the line we go.Unlike the Prime and Animated designs, Hasbro seems content to let the Unicron Trilogy character designs remain faithful in their appearances.

I think GUOP is as good as that Prime is gonna get. My only gripe is the faux wheels on the wings. And Megatron should also stay a voyager. A gigantic racecar was just ridiculous, even if it was fitting for the character.-Kanrabat- wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:It would seem so. Even though there was an attempt in Siege, I wonder if they'll make a Cybertron Optimus in Legacy? I predict a Commander if they want to remain faithful. Cybertron Megatron would be a leader for sure.
...y'know there was a rumor floating around right before the Shadow Striker pictures showed up that said Bombshell would be a heavy retool of Shrapnel, and I was holding off on copying that to here until things had cooled down from Shadow Striker + new listings, but nevermind I guess. If I hadn't been looking at him with that rumor already in mind, I probably wouldn't have noticed he's a retool.
