It wouldn't be an issue if there was easier ways to level up your weapons.

At the moment you have three options.

Find a boss and beat him up (odds are low)
Use Battle Points to open the space bridge (when all your targets are paying out less than 20 that can take a few days and if you're lucky you might get a level 2 weapon)
Rise five levels and get a weapon medal to open the space bridge (and again if you're lucky you might get a level 2 weapon)

Oh and then to actually power up a weapon it takes at least half a dozen level 3 cards to do so.

So at the rate I'm playing, I might be able to level up a weapon card maybe twice a month.

Weapon: Dual Bladed Sword
Here is what I think I've figured out on cheering allies.

It used to be you can cheer allies once a day, ie 20 allies at 10 pts is 200 pts per day.

I had 85 allies but when I cheered, I only received 240 pts. Then I noticed, I could cheer back any allie who cheered me, AS MANY TIMES AS I WANTED.

So I cheered my allies, got 240 pts, waited about an hour, logged in, noticed people cheered me, I cheered back, got 180 pts, waited an hour repeated. At the end of the day, I had about 1500 pts for my 85 allies.

I hypothesized that you now only get pts if you can you cheer an allie but you can't cheer them again unless they cheer you.

I removed all friends that didn't seem to be playing except the 24 I noticed were cheering. Asked for friend requests of people in my level range that were still playing. Got my allies back up to about 60, started cheering everytime I logged in about every couple hours and was getting between 300-400 per. So daily, I've been getting anywhere around 3000 pts from allies.

Can anyone else try this and verify its working for them?

I think mobage purposely did this to give us more cards attempts. Wish we had more weapon card attempts.

Also, I've completed all missions, got all robot and weapon cards from all missions filled out, my explore energy is 136, has anyone gotten explore energy to go higher than that?

ugh ... every time they update this game they make it slower and slower to play. I don't have time to go through my allies and work out who's playing and who isn't, remove those who aren't, add those who are, then check in every hour just to cheer.

I realise it's mobile and I have the game at hand pretty much all the time, but I also have better things to do with my life.

I have been playing since January and I don't have a single weapon card max leveled yet. Not one. In two months. Thats just stupid.

I don't agree with this at all. I played for the first time yesterday since my last post 5 days ago. I played strictly to test out your post. Firstly, since I hadn't played for 5 days, surely the "cheer clock" on my allys had been reset. I had 67 allys at the time. That should have amounted to 670 points. It didn't. I only got 130 points.

Now, again after not playing for 5 days, you'd think that the first time I cheered, all of my allys would have gotten cheered. But no that didn't happen. Despite the fact that I got no messages that I had been cheered by allys while I was offline, I was still able to get 10-20 point cheers every few hours through the course of the day when I checked back in to play again.

This morning when I logged in, I had a message that said that I had been cheered by allys. So I decided to read it. Over the time period of whenever I last played the night before until my first time I played this morning, I had been cheered by 40 allys. If the game works the way you say it does, I should have been able to cheer them all. But in reality, the message told me that 5 of the 40 were available to be cheered back while it said the other 35 had already been cheered. That just doesn't add up.

I pulled roughly 350 points from my 67 allys yesterday. Not quite the 3000 point that you claim you are getting. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, I don't know. At this point though, I am going to say your theory is not correct.

What I can confirm is that the points per ally cheered still appears to be 10. Later on in the experiment, I used the "cheer back all" button in the messages menu to cheer my available allys. The message said that I had 8 allys available for cheer back, I pushed the "cheer back all" button and received 80 points. Why the math doesn't seem to add up anymore over the course of a full 24 hours is beyond me? Perhaps the "cheer clock" has been adjusted to where your allys can't be cheered every 24 hours. Perhaps, there is now a limit to how many allys you can cheer at one time. Clearly, I was unable to cheer all 67 even after 5 days. So I don't know. Maybe the cheer allys button is broken after one of the updates and the "cheer back all" button in the messages menu is the only one that gives full credit. Who the hell knows with this buggy game anymore!?

The support rep that I've been in contact with said they have no clue why I am not getting all my ally points. This all boils down to poor communication with no forums for users to interact and discuss problems.

hey joesaysso, thanks for replying

Before the big update at the end of February, I was in the habit of cheering once a day and I was getting my full amount of pts. After the update is when I noticed cheering once a day was only getting my 120 pts but I had 82 allies. I then noticed I was getting cheer notices within an hour after cheering that contained 3 of the people I had just cheered an hour ago and the icon beside their name was labeled "cheer" like I could cheer them. I pressed cheer and it worked. I kept cheering these people and thought they've changed the system so you can only cheer who has cheered you, back and forth. I assumed the other people I couldn't cheer because they stopped playing and weren't cheering me back.

I went through my whole friends list and removed everybody that I had not noticed cheered me. I then started adding people that I knew were playing based on how high their level was and I could still battle them. At that time, I was lvl 165 and I was adding people in that range as well.

As my allie list filled up, I started getting more points because more people were cheering me more often. I have 67 allies and I'm still trying to find a few more to get up to my max at the moment.

Here's what you might try, remove all your friends except for the ones you know you've been able to cheer in the last couple days, you may have to monitor who you are cheering.

I noticed now that when you press the notification to cheer back, it shows all my allies and who is available for cheer, highlighted with a cheer button, others say already cheered. Im assuming that if it says "cheer" they cheered you, if it says already cheered, they haven't.

People that seem to be cheering me often and usually within 30 minutes is Optimuswayne, infinitepizza, ridawgoo, laquah, and agenttimex. If I login every hour, they have always cheered me, so I cheer back.

Im still getting a little over 3000 pts a day depending on if I just camp the cheers every 30 minutes or if I just do it once every couple hours.

my tag is Monuoripts, add me if you see me if you want, and I will cheer with you. If you tell me you have added me, I will log in every hour and cheer you so you can check and see if its giving you a notification.

Oh, one thing to note, sometimes I cheer, then notice 5 minutes later that someone cheered me but when I try to cheer them again, it says I have done it today already. If i log out and log back in, I can now cheer that person. Again, I have been monitoring this specifically with optimuswayne. In 1 hour I racked up 200 pts cheering, logging out, logging in, and cheering him again because it notified me he was available for cheer. It seemed he cheered me every 2 minutes.

let me know if you can add me and if you find any results by removing friends and adding new allies that you know are playing. Just see what allies you can battle and those are most likely playing the game still.

I guess this is the first hole that I am trying to fill in. How exactly do you know who you are cheering? The only time allys are listed and available for cheering individually is on the messages menu. Once you leave the messages menu, the message clears and you don't see it again. The ally menu lists all of your allys and gives only one option to cheer them all. When you do "cheer all", it doesn't tell you who you cheered, it just gives you whatever amount of points that you earned.

"sometimes I cheer, then notice 5 minutes later that someone cheered me but when I try to cheer them again, it says I have done it today already. If i log out and log back in, I can now cheer that person." So how are you determining that the person you cheered 5 minutes later was/is the same person that you could not cheer 5 minutes earlier when the game gives you no indication of who exactly you just cheered?

Apologies for the double post. I meant to respond to this the other day but forgot and I didn't want the two current conversations to run together.

It is a big deal. In fact, its almost a game breaking deal. As people catch on and start swapping good cards in their deck with low level junk cards to try and squeeze out more BP from battles, what you end up with is everybody holding hands of lvl 1 cards and offering microscopic rewards.

Which would be an even bigger deal if the weapon cards system wasn't so severely broken. At its current rate, its probably going to take about 5 years to get each of your 9 cards to have a maxed out weapon card. At this stage, its arguable whether or not the battle portion of this game even serves any purpose.

But imagine if it was actually possible to level up your weapon cards in this game and battling was worth it. It would be increasingly frustrating watching your battle payouts shrink as you leveled up because more people were trying to take advantage of a stupid programming rule.

Hey joesaysso

from start to finish here is a procedure I did to see who I was cheering and making sure I knew who I was cheering, again, Im going to use the person optimuswayne as my example

I logged in, got the cheer notification

opened the notification, counted all the people with the "cheer" tag next to them, 19 people

Cheered all, got 190 pts, optimuswayne was one of those people

I did not log out, waited 10 minutes, did a mission, went back to the home screen where i had another notification I had been cheered.

I opened it and looked through my list of people, optimus wayne had another "cheer" tag

I pressed his cheer tag but got the message that he was already cheered today

I logged out and immediately logged back in, got a cheer notification

optimuswayne had a "cheer" tag next to him, I cheered just him and it gave me 10 pts

I logged out, waited 5 minutes, logged in, got a notification, looked at the people but optimus wayne had a "cheered" tag next to him, so I believe he had not cheered me back yet

I logged out, waited another 5 minutes, logged in, looked at notifications, optimuswayne had a "cheer" tag. I cheered him again, got 10 pts

This is the process I've used except it has been with multiple allies, including the few I've listed in the previous post. Those are the ones I notice most often showing up in my list as being able to cheer multiple times a day.

Ok maybe some progress here. After reading your last post and then logging into game and checking my cheer messages, I'm pretty sure that a few people are in fact repeat cheers from earlier on in the day. And it did in fact have the option to cheer them again. This may actually be plausible.

What I am getting caught up on though is why would allys appear in the cheer notification that I can't cheer back. If the whole point of your theory is that you can basically keep chaining cheers all day for more points, why would uncheerable people appear in the notification? If I haven't logged on in a few hours and the game has notified me that they have cheered me, should I not be able to cheer them back?

I understand that, in your theory, you won't get repeat points from people who aren't playing. But if I get notification that someone has cheered me, obviously that means that they are playing. I should be able to cheer them back. So then, there really shouldn't be anyone in your notification that appears as "cheered" if this theory was completely correct. Right?

Hey joesaysso,

My thought on why you see allies that can and can't be cheered when you press the notification is this, you can keep track of who isn't cheering you, and delete them so you can add someone who is playing, hopefully to accumulate more ally pts.

This thought is still based on me assuming they are going to an unlimited cheer-cheer back method so people can accumulate more pts and get more card attempts.

I'm keeping an spread sheet on my phone with all my ally names and how many times I've cheered them in a day. Out of 79 people, 44 are regular in cheering more than once a day, usually about 3 times. Optimuswayne and a couple others seem to cheer me within 10-20 minutes when I've got time to just sit and log out and log back in. The rest seem to only cheer once a day, sometimes a little longer.

My luck at the spacebridge seems to be 1 rarity 3 card every 60-80 cards. At my current point rate, I usually see a rarity 3 every 3 days, sometimes I see a common rarity 3 like mirage in there as well. By common rarity 3, I mean the rarity 3 cards you can obtain through missions as well as spacebridge.

I guess what you might do is start a spreadsheet of all your allies, then keep track over a week how many people you can cheer. In a week, if you have people you can't cheer, I'm assuming they've quit playing. Delete them and add new friends.

I noticed several I added back under level 50, they were still under level 50. I decided I would delete everyone that wasn't within 10 levels of me if I noticed they weren't cheering. It left me with 10 or so allies, then I started adding back, that's when my pts really started showing a big difference.

Thanks for going back and forth with me on this, it really helps flesh it out to see what's going on.

Im so ready to give up on this game. Does anyone think there is even a remote possibility that they are going to do another event?

I missed the first one.

Another thing, Im level 90 and had at least 5 spins on the premium space bridge and not only haven't i seen a 4 card but i haven't gotten one optimus or ultra magnus

Last night I did, in fact, make the decision to start tracking my cheers throughout the course of the following day. When I got up this morning, I starting writing down the names of everyone who appeared in my cheer notifications and whether or not they were cheerable. Its been about 12 hours since then. I logged in 6 times in that span. In that small sampling, I can confirm that the way you broke it down does appear to be very accurate.

I cheered one person 5 out of the 6 times, a few other 3 times. Also, one time today I cheered, and then spent my energon and battled. Went back to the home screen and saw a cheer notification. It said I could cheer the person back but when I tried, the game would not let me. I logged out then immediately logged back in. I cheered my allies and registered 10 ally points.

I guess what needs to happen now is a friend exchange. We all post all of the people who you get cheers from more than once a day and then try to trim and add our allies as appropriate to maximize points.

Hats off to you. It appears you had this one nailed down the whole time.

They keep teasing another event. I don't know if they'll actually pull it off though. As far as the premium space bridge goes, I stayed well away from it. The stupid high price for one card and the randomness of the product card, that just screams ripoff. I figured most people knew what they were doing when they used it and were fine with throwing money away with little expectations in return.

Hey joesaysso,

I decided I would start a new tally count this morning so I can give good numbers for which allies are cheering most.

Following is my exact procedure

- Got up at 8am and made a new spread sheet with all my allies, lvls, and pts zeroed out

- Did the first cheer notification at 8:30am, logged out

- Every 5 minutes I logged in and cheered only when there was a cheer notification (which was everytime). This way I can tally who I could cheer. Then, I would log out

- I did this for 1 hour, I did not ever go to allies and press cheer all. I only responded to cheer notifications, following is my results.

So I should've preview that post before doing it. The formatting is horrible.

It should be NAME, LEVEL, CHEERS.

So the first person is Canadianconcert, 223, 7, and the last person is Wind88888, 274, 1. Everyone below Wind88888 had 0 cheers.

Well, I guess you can't add allies by name anymore. I have begun the process of removing "fallen" allies and aligning myself with newer, still functioning ones. I am hoping to be able to report a big gain in ally points onver the coming days.

Not sure, I've never really tried. Guess I'll give it a try and post again.

I noticed that got removed a couple months ago, whenever they did the big update in January. That's when it seemed to be gone from mine.

wait for it wrote:Im so ready to give up on this game. Does anyone think there is even a remote possibility that they are going to do another event?

I missed the first one.

Another thing, Im level 90 and had at least 5 spins on the premium space bridge and not only haven't i seen a 4 card but i haven't gotten one optimus or ultra magnus

Not sure about when the next event is. Hopefully soon. I'm wondering if they are trying to get the rest of the bugs out so they can release on i-devices and run an event soon after, maybe to "launch with a bang" on i-devices.

Also, I've never used the premium space bridge. I'm level 212, and I've got all rarity 3 cards except for Robot Mode Ironhide. In regards to Ultra Magnus, I've had 3 robot modes and 1 vehicle mode. In regards to Optimus rarity 3, I've gotten 4 robot mode and 2 vehicle mode. Now that may sound unfair but almost all of the other rarity 3 cards, I've only ever gotten 1 of each unless it was what I refer to as a common rarity 3 like mirage or laserbeak, any of the ones you can get from a mission.

Now for the rest of my post. Here are my results of my cheers from 8:30am to 10:00pm. Again, the format is NAME, LVL, CHEERS

Big update just hit. Things Ive noticed so far:

1) Silver and Gold Event Medals are available! Along with a shiny new layout for space bridges.
2) Ally cheer works as it was supposed to now. I have 52 allies and received 520 points for cheering.
3) The matchmaking system has been revamped or the rewards are now scaled as all my opponents are very close to the same BP rewards (20-25 points for me). No more 1, 5, 3 point reward matches since update.
4) Cards are showing up as new even though they are in my cyberdex (no big deal IMO).
5) All energon battles cost 10 energon no matter the stage.

Overall a good step in the right direction.

A step in the wrong direction if you ask me. If they "fixed" the ally points system to make it in line with the way it was then you potentially lose points. As myself and Monuo_ripts have been discussing, 1000 points a day or more is achieveable with the ally points left alone. If they changed it back to the way it was, well thats no good.

Indeed, the battles and reward points seem to be set in the 22-24 point range for me. If I change the cards in my hand, the game matches me up against lower level players to fall into the 22-24 point range still. So how is that a step in the right direction? The only way I was able to accrue enough battle points to make any progress on a weapons card would be to battle people who gave me 40-70 point rewards. Even then it would take 3 weeks to save up 5000BP to cash in 10 weapons cards, which would give me about a 15% xp increase on the card I'm attempting to level. That should only take me about 6 months to max level one weapon cards. Unless they changed the scale of weapon card leveling, this change is stupid and bad for the game.

The other changes you mention are just, meh. I'm tired of their layout updates that do nothing but slow down the game. The game is way more laggy and un-responsive now than it was on the day I downloaded it months ago. My frustration with the devs of this game swells.

Yep, this all sucks. No more large amounts of ally pts and no more using the huffer trick to try and get a lot of BP. Sucks major that so far 23 BP is the largest amount i can get from a battle. Sucks even more there is still no additional method to gain weapon cards besides BP.

Sucks they didn't fix the already transcanned cards that had the broken stats compared to cards transcanned after the big update at the end of february.

So besides a few better graphics, the game has now gotten slower and less fun to play.

Hopefully the dinobot event will make the game fun again.

You've been exploiting the ally system and regardless if it gives you less points now, an exploit is an exploit and will eventually be patched.

Considering all I saw were 9 - 10 point battles with the occasional 20 here and there, yes it is an upgrade. Now concerning the amount of work to obtain a weapon and level it, I agree with you. My guess is the weapon leveling is just busy work in between events and they don't want people maxing all levels and then have no reason to play the game.

The game could certainly use a change with the loot tables on the rarer cards. Ive spent 170 silver medals thus far and received only 1 rarity 3 card.

I honestly don't think it was an exploit or a glitch that needed patched. I really think they did this so people would be playing the game more often while they tried to get another event together, a way to keep people hooked.

Now that they have a new event this week, they've moved back into the old cheer once a day method. If you played the last event, you'll remember how many medals they gave out for every boss. If we are already getting so many cards from ally pts, it diminishes the coolness of getting so many medals, hence they dumbed the system down again. That, or maybe they noticed they were losing money on the premium bridge because more ally pts equaled more rare 3 and 4 drops without having to pay.

Just a theory, the golden goose is dead either way.
