Already tried that - didn't see anything....

The mobage facebook page and the TF:L-wikia forums are just littered with people complaining that mobage "stole" their money. Now while I wouldn't piss on mobage if they were on fire, I can't help be amused by people who willingly threw their money away on Mobage's terrible space bridge and then get upset that they didn't get what they wanted from it.
I'd really like to know what people's expectations are when they put money into a RANDOM space bridge. I guess some people just have to learn the hard way. Sadly, alot of these people will probably spend money on the next event too.
monuo_ripts wrote:One thing I noticed is several iOS devices were restarting every 5 minutes or so. If the game restarts just as the bridge starts to happen, it takes your coins and moves you to the next teir without giving you cards. This happened twice to my friend this event. They gave him his cards back but they couldn't reset the bridge so he could try the 100 coin or 300 coin bridge again. Instead they told him he would have to use the 900 coin bridge or wait til the next event.
This actually happened to me on robots in the skies, I tried the 100 coin and lost out because of a restart. Mobage game me my coins back but when I complained about not getting the opportunity to use the 100 coin bridge, they gave me an extra 100 coins and said they couldn't reset it.

Here's my experiment, next episode, if I choose not to compete for cards, I'm not going to spawn ANY of my own bosses. I'm just going to snipe other bosses until my pts reach around 100K or maybe until I've successfully helped my first lvl 6 boss. I believe its fair to say that is a good method to start spawning my own bosses. I'm willing to bet, I spawn the first lvl of bosses several times until I've killed about 20 or so, based on previous episodes of infiniplay and the progression of bosses on the first day. After I've killed an undetermined amount, I bet I start progressing through the bosses until I reach the boss I can't 1 cube, then I bet I won't be able to see anything past that unless I waste cubes to get past them.

I've got a question. Well, maybe several, but one for starters. Does anyone know the rate at which you find the ?? bosses? Every so often when I find a raid boss, it ends up being a level-less, 500 point value boss of maybe 2.5 million hit points and virtually no attack strength. When you beat it, you get 500 points and four battle recharges. CtE was the first event I tried to be competative in after having caught the competition fever during the Beast Hunters one. So far I'm in the top 8000 for DotD2, and in my attempts to keep battling without paying human money (nu uh....) I keep praying for these ?? bosses and end up getting them probably few hours. Is there a pattern or anything that I'm not noticing so that I can exploit it more?
Dagon wrote:Oh, no way am I spending real life dollars on this game. I've been scavenging bosses that (most certainly) better equipped players are asking for help on, and am below 8000 in the rankings with like a 6600 deck power. I'm not even worried about top 100 or anything, and once I realised that in order to get more than one decent prize you need to finish in the top like, 500, I figured I'd just get what I could and try to get the point rewards I wanted. So I got the robot Ratbat and the Ratbat and Ramject guns, and whatever else may happen, I'm fine. I think the game is a fine, fun time waster every three hours during an event when my cubes are full, but otherwise it doesn't interest me too much.
Thanks for the tips though. I don't play card games or these kinds of deck based battle games, so I mainly rely on luck and chance to have anything go my way. And, I like the card art. Pretty, pretty pictures.
