One thing you must know about the dadblasted MPAA is that they're a trippy lot. What may offend one group of the ratings board, might not affect the other in the same way. Heck, you can't swing a dead trophy wife without hearing some horror story of how producers and directors pull thier hair out over how to work around thier recommendations to achieve the desired rating. For the flick American Psycho , the MPAA gave it an NC-17 not over violence or sex, but because they didn't like how Christan Bale admired his psyhique in a mirror. :HEADHURTS: Likewise some of thier reasons behind demanding certain cuts in films have been rather vague. Leaving producers and directors pulling out thier hair trying figure out what it was that put a bug up thier butts so to get the rating they're under contract to get.:BANG_HEAD: Hell,a couple of Spielberg's own classic flicks got banned(
I'm rather pleased that this news is coming up. It sounds like this flick won't be pulling any punches like the flicks of my youth(which seems way too long ago anymore). E.T. and Raiders of the Lost Ark were banned in Scandinavia ,and back those two got PG ratings.

Oh, and let's not forget this amusing line from GTA:

"Rated R for retarded."
