Am I the only one who feels like Quintus Prime should have been Octopunch?

Octopunch can be an Harpoon, but some other reasons it looks like a crossbow.

Abominus actually looks great for his/their fans. I'm not one (mainly cos not a big fan of the beast forms or combiners as a whole) but I can appreciate this works a lot better than some of the other combiners, particularly the dinobots and predacons (both messed up)

Optimal looks like junk but he always did.

Bludgeon...man... still wasting that Pretender potential with these crummy things. I'll stick with my custom RotF Bluddy thanks. May not be a Pretender but it's still a ton more awesome than these cheapo bits of crud are.

I've seen this said in a few places now, where was it confirmed? The only thing I've seen confirmed was that POTP ends this year.

It's a "more or less confirmed" situation. The fact is Hasbro releases the Generations waves by quarter, and Wave 1 was scheduled for Q1 2018.

I am fairly certain that what we have left is exclusives and boxsets. Which there could be a decent amount, but we have some time to wait and see. Especially as it was mentioned, Hasbro is trying to play closer to the vest after the snafu last summer.

It came from Wardwn at Toyfair.he said the size classes were different, but the most waves any of them had was 4. So could ne another Leader hiding for example, but we know the 4 waves of Deluxes

I sure hope Hasbro hasn't announced everything yet because I still haven't seen an image of Waverider anywhere to complete my Autobot Prime Master set. I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to stick him in a $100 box set with 3 other figures I am only mildly interested in. If that happens, I hope Takara can save me with a single figure release & I only have to pay a few extra bucks for him.

My other idea for Abominus would be to steal some hands from a couple of Dinobots or Dreadwind & Blackwing (since I won't be combining them). That way the hands could at least match, even if they aren't the proper color.

My biggest gripe with the alleged Wave 4 line-up is that the repeats seem so random. Why are we getting 2x Rippersnapper when we already got enough in Wave 2? No other Terrorcons are getting a rerelease. Blot, Sinnertwin, and Cutthroat are all getting packed 2x in Wave 3, but Rippersnapper gets another 2x packout later on? Why do we need twice as many Rippersnappers on shelves as any other deluxe sized Terrorcon toy? This is just bizarre.

Or, you know, Hasbro is kinda incompetent/stupid and cannot plan Waves properly. That or they deliberately release a single new(ish) figure in a revision wave knowing it will jack up prices.

I'm really hoping for at least one or two boxset but Titans Return scrapping them halfway does not bode well, even if Monstructor/Dinoking or an extra G2-colored set could be snuck in.

Why do so many keep saying TR scrapped boxsets halfway through? There is absolutely no tangible evidence that there were ever going to be 4 boxsets. The thing Hasbro ever told us was that we would get the 4 ultimate power-up Titan Masters in a non-mass retail release, which was true.

We, the consumers/collectors, may have thought that 4 boxsets was going to happen because Combiner Wars allegedly set a precedent, but that is still hearsay.

All we know for certain is that many in the fandom, myself included, thought (wrongly) that 4 boxsets were coming, nothing more nothing less.

what about the fact that the clones were supposed to be part of a boxset which was cancelled?

My money is on a scrapped G2 Megatron in green and eggplant purple camouflage for one of the boxset, which would have matched the Laser Rod Optimus homage from the TR Octaone/Optimus Mold in G2 colors found in the Velocitron box.
