Is anyone out there still missing the wave 2 deluxes from Power of the Primes? Most specifically the Dinobots and the shortpacked figures like Moonracer? Because Hasbro sure remembers when everyone was asking for more and they won't stop until every single fan has a set. Case in point, the reveal of the first revision wave from Power of the Primes. A listing for this wave, specifically called Transformers Generations Power of the Primes Deluxe Wave 2 Revision 1, is now listed on
Entertainment Earth. It contains an equal amount of deluxe Snarl, Sludge, Darkwing and Moonracer.
It is shipping out this December so these will be the POTP toys on shelves for the (late) holiday season, at retailer who may be wanting to stock more toys from the line. Of course with Slug also being available as part of wave 4, Hasbro also has solid cases of Swoop available for retailers to order so that all four Dinobots could be on shelves at the same time. This solid case is also shown on
Entertainment Earth, along with another solid case of deluxe Dreadwind (to go with the abundance of Blackwing we are about to get). For those unaware, a solid case means a case full of just the same figure. So that means if you walk into the toy aisle and see a peg full of just Swoop, it is normal.
So what do you think of all this? Happy to see that Hasbro is listening and trying to rectify the year's biggest issue for Transformers fans? Is this overkill? Let us know!
