See, that's my point. It's time to update Omega so he's not a jumble of parts that can either form a battle station or a robot. Make him some singular thing, or at least fewer things so you can get more transforming play value that isn't just reassembling disparate parts and maybe turning his head around. Overlord works because he's only two components. Omega could be 3 parts:: the wings make a track, his arms make the rocket, and the rest makes a tank or platform. Or they could ditch the wings completely and let him be a two-parter like Overlord. Or they could make him a giant spaceship like the Animated or WFC versions. Or they could do a giant battle train like Energon. There are options, and if anybody's going to not be beholden to how he worked in G1, it's this guy.
o.supreme wrote:But see, any of those *updates* you are suggesting would no longer make him Omega Supreme. I don't see why parts forming is a bad thing anyway. Besides FT Terminus Giganticus has much more transforming than I ever thought could be done. I said earlier I seriously doubt Hasbro could do such a thing, but it would be awesome. If a Generatons rendition of Omega Supreme is to be made, he should resemble his original self in both modes, otherwise he is NOT Omega Supreme.

If they call him Omega Supreme and he looks like Omega Supreme, he's Omega Supreme. I care less about his alt mode as long as it makes sense for the character than I do about the robot mode looking good, but I also want a good toy out of it. A Transformer whose transformation is a 90% taking panels off and putting them back together in new orientations is not a good toy.

Again, that's Your opinion. But none of those things you describe would make him LOOK Like Omega Supreme. The Fan made Sky Shadow looks cool, but it doesn't look like, and is not, Omega Supreme. None of the other Generaitons characters have had radically as drastic changes, I don't know why Omega Supreme should be an exception.
If you want to make an argument for Tablet (formerly cassette bots), fine. I am not as big a fan of them, but if a Hardcore Soundwave/Blaster fan is not pleased with the changes, I would not find their opinion invalid.
And again, While I don't mind Parts forming. I can take it or leave it. FT Version is amazing and has a ton of transformation while keeping it faithful to the original.

Agreed, I cant believe I am passing on 2 voyagers in this line so far.
And here is how his torso mode will look like. While he is the small torso on the left, it is basically the same as Elita 1 with a few aesthetic changes.

So....
what about Scorponok?(& I don't mean that TM that came with Grotusque)
I don't see anyone doing a Leader Class digibash of him

Which I don't care for, and don't own.

Never heard of this. If I saw one, however I would not purchase it.

It appears what you want is a NEW character, a NEW Omega Supreme, and that's fine. If Hasbro decides to develop one for Cybermissions, or the Live Action Movies, or at any point in the future for any of their new brand,. That is fine. Make all the new versions in new continuities you want.
However, None of us can foresee the future, but I'm pretty sure based on as you say, this current design team, we would not see a Generations Omega Supreme that was not faithful to the original. If by some engineering miracle they could make the original Base Mode fully Transformable to look like its original Robot Self that would be amazing...I don't think its possible, but hey, I'm not a toy engineer. I'm pretty sure we wont be seeing one for a while. I bet the Hasbro design team is really glad Trypticon won the fan vote in 2016.(I voted for Tryp by the way...while Omega is my favorite character, I would have liked him as a toy last of those 3 simply because of the feasibility discussion we are having now). My gut tells me 2019 will be Scorponok, or maybe we wont have any titans at all...who knows.

Prime wars trilogy is the first big toy event that Hasbro has done since the Unicron trilogy so I definitely think that they'll end it with a Titan. Scorponok and Omega don't fit the gimmick of this line and can't really be made to include it like Trypticon was with Full Tilt. But Raiden would. He's a 6 bot combiner that wouldn't work with the standard CW/POTP system and he's the rival of both Devastator and Predaking. He's the only Autobot combiner that would work at Titan class besides Landcross but his rival dinoking is most likely going to be normal combiner scale.
"But he's so obscure" while true he's definitely marketable:
1) He's an Autobot and "good guys sell"
2) He's 6 different characters and a combiner
3) He's made of trains. Everybody loves trains.
I know this was long and out of nowhere but I've been sitting on this thought for a while and finally decided to post it

I would absolutely love this, as a compliment for Devastator, and I'vre always liked the character of raiden since I've known about him...but your point #3...While *I* think trains are cool. Hasbro only seems to think people in Japan like trains.
