Just a quick check, can the prime masters be used by the combiners? I've seen them in use with the deluxes but that's about it.

They can.

The Prime Masters (and by extension Titan Masters), Enigmas and Matrix Cores all have the same basic shape, so they can be endlessly swapped out. Spots for them are the:

- Legends Class cockpits
- Deluxe Class Hand Armor
- Voyager Class Foot Armor and Enigma cavity (Grimlock's mouth, Starscream's cockpit)
- Leader Class Matrix

In fact, Combiners can fit a whopping 7 of them!

I have to say, I am really excited to get the chance to purchase the blast off shuttle mold, I was starting to research purchasing the Unite Warriors version with taxes until I saw the news spot recently.

I'm right there with you. I'd given up on a Hasbro shuttle Blast off long ago. Double bonus, jet Blast Off now becomes Take Off and a free agent Decepticon limb that can go with Blackwing, Dreadwind, Offroad and/or whatever other odd Decepticon limbs that might come along.

Actually, Take Off was an action master. I had to look it up myself, because I thought he may have been a micro-master and wanted to double check my memory. So my memory was right about him being a TF, but wrong on the grouping.

Sabre's right, but I think I actually might have seen someone else suggest this in the forums back when CW and UW were doing Bruticus and they were buying UW plus jet blast off as an extra limb. So credit really goes to someone else a few years ago.

My apologies for not remembering who.

We've had 4 Prime Wars Optimus Prime toys and all of them have had different coloured hands, PMOP had red, CW had blue, TR had black and POTP had grey. Huh.

Actually, that's the name I came up with for jet Blast Off too, way back when. I don't know which one of us publicly said it first, though. You have to admit, though, that "Take Off" just sort of makes perfect sense, just like Sabr said.

So right now there is no PotP Red Swoop in existence, nor are there plans for one, either in the US or in Japan?

I want my Red Swoop, dammit!

Regular artist and source of behind the scenes looks at a lot of toys and media Emiliano Santalucia, has shared on his Facebook page his early presentation sketches for Transformers Power of the Primes leader class Rodimus Prime! As noted by Santalucia himself, these were early concepts to showcase the idea of how the Matrix, evolution, and Prime Master gimmicks would work, not a design.

If they'll do a box set for Volcanicus with G2 Grimmy, Slag and Snarl they might include toy version Swoop with the red torso and visored head instead of a made up new G2 version of him.

Hasbro AU said PotP would hit Australia mid-January. Guess that only applied to small independent stores.

At this rate I will end up importing from Japan. Shop local they say ... bah.
