I think this would be a great interpretation of micromasters, no one wants a tiny figure that turns into a tanker trailer, but two different tanker trucks with great bot modes then combining into an awesome bot, I can get behind that

Thanks mate, but I've had others offer to do the same, but the postage, combined with a crappy dollar conversion rate ends up making them VERY expensive exclusives which I simply can't justify.

If they made them bigger, they could start doing Energon figures, that power-linked...

I think keeping them small helps make the imperfections less egregious, but that's just me, larger figures - I think - would mean more of an attempt to add kibble, which means more kibble to store in combined mode, I think scout class is where it's at, and that's my reasoning

I think it would be cool to get a cw liokaiser retool, with elita 1 (cuz the jet mode finally works - and as there's no fiction surrounding them, I'm fine with making the leader a female) as the new leader, a new combiner head, and retooled limbs... (dat tank with arms tho)

Just to put people at ease about Onyx Prime being only available with Predaking, the box pretty clearly states it's a special edition, sort of like the Megatronus that comes with May Mayhem Blast Off.

The age of the molds doesn't seem to bother Hasbro that much. They did go back to the 2015 Air Raid/Skydive mold for Dreadwind and Blackwing in 2018 after all. I'll be surprised if they don't have plans to visit some PotP molds again by the end of 2021.

Prime Masters suits have small handles on the weapon parts so they can hold them themselves. That's all Bludgeon and Octopunch are doing, though they're taking the same liberties with Bludgeon's weapon as they did with Optimus Primal's swords.

As much as I'm looking forward to these figures, I'm also trying to brace myself for disappointment because ever since the Beast Hunters line in 2013, most of the figures haven't shown up anywhere in my area. I had to look up Amazon to find the figures I'm looking for.

For months, I've been trying to look for Overlord, but he's not in stores. Nor is he on Amazon. I also want to get Blitzwing, but the price for him is just ridiculous! He's about up to nearly £80!

You know, I've always been curious as to why certain countries get exclusives like that, it can't just be a fan base/monetary based thing. Anyway, been goofing with the PotP prime and I LOVE the Orion Pax, the whole thing is cool, but I honestly think that Pax made the whole set worth while for me. The whole toy is fun, yeah the truck mode is kind of...eh, but overall it's not too bad. As for what's coming out and is out around here, I'm excited. They all look like really fun toys to play with and great homages to toys I wanted/had as a kid.

Dude its not about defending Hasbro. Its about calling you out on a statement you made thats total bullshit...the same way you would do me.

Hasbro will ship out as many pallets of transformers as your TRU management is willing to buy. Its not Hasbros fault if TRU Australia doesnt want to invest in the franchise. Obviously people down under arent digging transformers enough. How the hell is that Hasbros fault? Its up to you guts to make the hobby a success or a failure. Create more fans that will buy more toys and the retailers will invest. Its that f**king simple.

On to the extreme price gouging. Obviously living on an island has a downside that effects the cost of "importing". But then again. the toys are all made in Asia (even takara versions) Does Japan have a problem getting shipments of transformers from China? Not really. So thats your government making it hard on imports from China...not Hasbro.

Import customs taxes on ebay purchases....something im so glad we dont have to deal with in the united states. But once again, thats your governments fault, not Hasbros.

Last but not least, culture differences. If nobody wants to be a fan why should TRU stock the shelves or work out deals to bring down prices? Get more fans willing to buy or deal with obscurity. Its like me complaining that no pet shop in Miami wants to sell f**kin wallabies as pets. Your an online news guy. THANK YOU! I've been watching this POTP thread for a while now, and it seems like this is one of those details that most people seem to have missed. I'm not sure where this notion that we're not getting a general retail Onyx Prime came from, but it's really bizarre.

Actually, scratch that. Seems to me like it's been going hand-in-hand with the rumor that POTP is ending with Wave 4 (aka just Novastar). As someone in the thread mentioned earlier, we're basing a LOT of POTP speculation purely off of one leak that Hasbro clearly didn't intend on having to ever deal with. It seems to me that revealing all of the leaked toys is an attempt at damage control. I'd say it's possible that we're seeing toys that weren't supposed to be revealed until much later, Novastar and the Wave 3 Prime Masters being possible examples. I also don't seem to recall Toy Fair EVER being where Hasbro revealed everything they had in store for a toyline. Usually they save later reveals for other conventions.

There's also the fact that we still have three Prime Masters who need toys, those being Nexus Prime, Amalgamous Prime, and Prima. All three of them have had cards showcasing their powers attached to other toys. Hell, I got a Nexus Skrapnel card packaged with my Legends Skrapnel toy. I don't see why Hasbro would have made that card if there was no intention on making the Prime Master to correspond with it. It simply does not add up, unless plans for the line changed at the VERY last minute. While it's possible this could have happened, that is such an eleventh hour change to make, and one that would likely be very costly to do.

That's not exactly accurate, we've had toy fairs where they 'reveal' stuff that's out already, it doesn't usually go over well. Wave 3 had to be partially revealed as wave 2 is apparently chilling out in spades here in the state's (though I have to see any of them...) so revealing figures that have video reviews all over the internet, not really a great idea

Not quite. While on vacation, I found a few Chaos on Velocitron sets at a Toysrus somewhere between Mississippi and Tennessee (don't remember the exact location of the place).

You yourself are making many assumptions too by stating the opposite. Hasbro gave us all the details so there is nothing for any of us to assume. They were very clear. POTP is ending this year, we will get the first toys for the next line Januray 2019 (so they will be in stores this december). There will be exclusives this year that they are not revealing yet and we know for a fact that those exclusives are part of POTP. And they will reuse previous molds in their next trilogy.

So right there, they have not revealed everything, there are exclusives left, but there wont be a 5th wave either. And any toy you didnt get this year can still come out between 2019 and 2021.

It was readily available at several brick and mortar TRU stores in the US and Canada. But only Canada and Hong Kong had the Seige on Cybertron set at Brick and Mortar.

I was fortunate enough to find the Duocons and both wave2 Voyagers in the past week, but wave1 deluxes are now readily available.
I was also fortunate the Chaos on Velocitron popped up at my TRU -- I never got the second one, since I could only find it online...

Man, all the duocons I'm seeing in people's photos, making me jealous I haven't yet seen them. My Aunt and Uncle had them, and some of the dinobots and insecticons at their house in the Upper Penisula and I loved going there to just play with those toys. I remember thinking as a little kid that I wanted to take them home with me, but I should leave them because it would make going to their house a little special. I really want them to do Flywheels and not just the headmaster version. Though I do love those little titan master stand alones.
Been drinking coffee and enjoying some apple tartlets in between cleaning and playing, and right now I'm using the matrix frame and popping all the PotP masters in it. I'm so glad I started to collect these things as I did, been able to start filling in all the wants and replacements from childhood. These lines are so much fun, and if this is any indication of how much fun I'll have with the next 'trilogy' of toys when it happens, I'm excited.

I picked up the Duocons a couple days ago, and I absolutely love them. Theyre really fun to fiddle with, and I really enjoy the concept of two smaller figs combining to make a larger one. I really hope that this opens the door to some revitalized UT figures. Even if they're in a Legends class format, I'd still love to have them, as the Powerlinx figures of the UT era were some of my favorites as a kid.

I really do wish that the Prime Masters worked a bit more like the Cyber Keys, though. I would have loved to been able to plug a Prime Master in and "power up" the figure, rather than just have them sit in some armor I know I'll never use.
