I know Transformers scale is doozy, but Voyager Seekers don't bother me too much on the basis that jets are supposed to be pretty huge compared to cars.

I know a lot of people prefer the Decepticon Jet trio together, I personally have no preference. I'm glad we are not getting 2 more voyagers without dedicated limbs. I was honestly hoping for 2 additional late release Original Series Decepticon Deluxe jets (Windsweeper, and perhaps one of the many Micromaster Jets...) to finish Starscream....one can only hope.

As for stores comparing the U.S. & Canada, I found this intriguing....

Population: U.S.= 326 M , Canada = 37M (roughly an 8.8 to 1 margin)
TRU stores: U.S.= 698, Canada = 83 (roughly an 8.4 to 1 margin) - almost the same.

Now, while there may be no viable way to quantify product sold or shipped to those stores, even if say, Canada got 1/3 the amount of toys the U.S. did, that would still be almost 2 1/2 times the amount of toys seen on the shelves in Canadian TRU, which probably accounts for some of the overstock in Canada, and shortages in the United States. However, we know TRU will be closing roughly 180 stores in the U.S. this year, which is extremely sad, but will, if anything *hopefully* allow toys to be found easier, at least for the immediate future, the long term outlook isn't so optimistic, unfortunately.

Well, having gotten into collecting with Generations I don't have any seekers beside the loathed PotP Starscream. Which I don't hate anywhere as much as other people, probably because I never even had my hands on any Starscream figure.

Unless one count Waspinator as a repurposed Starscream figure...?

I know you said you came in late on CW (I was exactly the same)...but did you never get the leaders in that line? Skywarp Shelfwarmed hard around here until about a year ago. Also I cant image the CW Legends or Leaders of all 3 can be that expensive on the secondary market

Leader Class seemed a bit too big for my tastes.

I like my CW Leader Seekers -- but yeah, they're too tall, honestly.

Before CW, though, I didn't have any Starscreams either. I won't get the PotP version though -- I much prefer Elita in it.

HEY, first post. Long-time collector and partaker in various parts of the franchise.

It's cool to see Wave 2 come out early, but is there any ballpark on Novastar's release? I imagine "Wave 4" is a ways down the line.

Late in 2018, from what we can guess.

Nova is still wave 4, I'm sure the only reason why they had her to Toy Fair was because they showed off all of Deluxe wave 3 back at New York Comic Con and wouldn't have a deluxe to show at Toy Fair (they'll probably show some exclusives and reveal the designs for the poll winners at SDCC and show War for Cybertron wave 1 at NYCC 2018 so it's all good).

Inferno, along with Cyndersaur and Outback, are probably just being held over for some other overseas event. Warden did say we haven't seen everything in PotP and he seemed a little excited so I'm hopeful he wasn't just talking about the three repaints. What we know it isn't is a Leader figure since Ryan/Seibertron was apparently told there are no more Leaders after Primal Prime. He was probably talking mainly about wave 4 Prime Masters and maybe a Grimlock retool or something.

There has been a few news posts with some of the box art if I recall correctly. I know there was a very recent news post with art from Hasbro that looks like what would be features on the cards and boxes, but for upcoming sets for the most part.

So, I've misplaced my Grimlock and Starscream's enigmas. I'm not too worried about them, they'll turn up, but I was wanting to compare them to the new voyagers enigmas. Are they the same as one another (autobot to autobot kind of thing)?

I found the rest of the Wave 2 Deluxes (Moonracer and Darkwing) and Voyager Elita One Tuesday afternoon at Walmart. I got the rest of the Deluxes and Voyager Hun-Gurrr this past Sunday. I had some time earlier this evening to open up Elita and Moonracer. It's nice to have these characters from the original cartoon finally immortalized in toy form.

Elita One is pretty decent. I like the effort put into remolding her. I think every robot part of her is new, as is the back half of the jet. She only seems to share the front half of the fuselage with Starscream. Her stickers aren't too bad. Mine were at least applied well. There's no peeling (yet) and everything is lined up relatively well and acceptably symmetrical. Weirdly, I found Elita to be a bit more "fiddly" getting her into jet mode than I did Starscream. A lot of tabs and slots on her fit VERY tightly, sometimes popping other parts out of place. It took a few minutes to get everything lined up correctly on what is honestly a very uninvolved transformation process. With Starscream, everything seemed to fall into place easily. If anything, the tolerances were just a bit on the "loose" side of things for him.

Moonracer is rather nice. I like the colors and paint work on her. Bravo, Hasbro! Yes, her backpack is unfortunate, but it's not a deal breaker for me. You can't really see it from head on. I'm surprised too that it doesn't really throw off her balance either. I think the windshield pieces under her feet give her a nice wide base for support. Her transformation wasn't too hard to figure out sans instructions. It's decently involved for a Deluxe figure of this era. Her alt mode doesn't look too bad, but it IS long for a car. I think of her more as a Cybertronian dragster than an Earth styled, street legal sedan. Putting the Prime Armor on the back of her vehicle completes that sleek "speed machine" kind of look.

I'm happy to have Elita One and Moonracer on my Classics shelf, standing together with Alpha Trion, Chromia, and Dion. Now, we need only wait for Firestar and hope that Greenlight and Lancer are in the works, even if we have to wait until the new War for Cybertron trilogy.

So i bought Leader-class Optimus Prime on my birthday (which is yesterday) and i got a card which is.....
"OPTIMUS MEGATRONUS"
quite unexpected but "That's the most evilest thing i can imagine
