I've seen Alpha Trion and Alchemist Prime exactly ONCE in the Twin Cities area, and I bought them both.

Switching gears a bit, I really have to wonder at this point if Hasbro is going to replace the "Transformers Collectors Club" with ANYTHING. That would be the perfect place for them to put out some of the last few odds and ends they've been neglecting from the Prime Wars Triology. Those products wouldn't have to compete with their new retail lines, especially with their "relaunch" of the new "War for Cybertron" Trilogy. It would let us get some things like a proper new Flywheels to go with Battletrap, the rest of the 1987 Minibots, a proper Legends sized Cliffjumper, the rest of the "Deluxe" Insecticons, some more deluxe combiner limbs to help fill out Megascream, Elita Inf1nite, and Firestormer, and even the last few Titans we need, like Omega Supreme and Scorponok (if it's true that Hasbro is going to abandon that size class due to poor sales). Hasbro just has to do a "made to order" system, charge a small premium to make up for smaller runs, and voila! Happy collectors and more money.

I believe we have already seen Hasbro's rendition. SDCC exclusives like Throne of the Primes, and the exclusives like Arcee, Grotusque, Nemesis Prime, Wreck Gar, Blastoff, Fisticuffs, and Repugnus

Tho, Voyagers are stuck at 1 and 2 no matter where, and my Walmarts stopped carrying Leader Class.

Interesting. I also have not seen any Leaders at Walmart, but the rest of that is inaccurate for me. Right now I have access to this line-up:

Walmart (in town)
Wave 3 PMs
Waves 1 & 2 Legends
Wave 3 Deluxes (sold out except Jazz)
Wave 2 Voyagers
NO Leaders

Target (15-ish mins away)
Wave 1 PMs
Wave 1 Legends
Wave 1 Deluxes
Wave 3 Voyagers(!), and 1 Starscream
Wave 1 Leaders

At this point, I'm just glad I was able to grab the Wave 2 Deluxes while I was at school. Talk about your screwed-up distribution... :BANG_HEAD:

Walmart - Christiansburg VA had (yesterday) Blackwing - Finally! I had found the others in that wavesome time ago and I figured I'd never see this in store but after hearing the restock news recently I went looking and found a lone Blackwing with no trace of the others so I guess it's a good time to search for them.

Yeah, the last leaders I saw at Walmart were the Rodimus figures when they first came out. The Target near me has both Rodimus figures and SS leaders.

Very few Walmarts are. The one closest to me does, and of course had 3 cases of Wave 1 just recently restocked. The next 4 closest stores don't carry leader. Only 1 out of the 4 stores closest to my work carry leaders as well, also recently restocked with Wave 1.

Yeah none of the Walmarts near me have Leader Class. Early on, one of them did, but it was almost like an accident since they didn't have any shelf space. Targets near me have plenty of leaders though of both PotP & SS, some even still have TLK lingering.

One Walmart had Prime Masters wave 2, and were immediately clearance priced at $3.00. I saw them twice, the first time I got my set, the second time a couple were left, then they were gone. It's that hindsight again, Had I known they'd be so limited, I would have purchased them all.

The only wave 3 *anything* I've seen was Inferno, at both Walmart and Target. I'm getting all the rest of my wave 3 stuff from BBTS since none of it has yet to hit my area. I got my deluxes Saturday, and my Prime Masters should be coming mid-week. So the only remaining items on my list are Predaking (which I'll be playing a delicate balance of saving/waiting for a potential sale), and Novastar.

I only ever saw one Potpie Leader class figure at a Walmart. It was a Rodimus but there was no place for it to go in on the shelf, so it was just taking up a spot reserved for Voyager class Studio Series figures. It was the only one of its kind there, and was there long after Wave 1 had been released. As such, I wondered if it might have been a returned item originally bought elsewhere.

You know, all this talk about difference from region to region regarding distribution really brings home the fact that there is no pattern. Not per store, not per area. So generalising things like saying that Walmarts no longer do something doesnt make much sense to me since for every anecdotal evidence of one theory, we get anecdotal evidence of the contrary.

Even my local Walmarts had Leader PotP figs, I even saw Rodimus Unicronus there once, but that was at least four months ago. It definitely isn't a regional thing and the stores that do sell them are so rare that I have to wonder if they simply had enough stocked that they haven't sold them through yet. If these same stores get Optimus Primal then we'll know for sure.

I live in a completely different region that any who have reported this phenomenon do. All Walmarts here had the first wave of leaders, and now they have none. Another regional report: Seibertronian carytheone, lives in the South, got Rodimus Unicronus on clearance at Walmart for $20 because they were dumping the class size even after receiving and stocking Wave 2.

I think it's some kind of corporate, nationwide decision not to carry Leader class, and it is strange.

After the stock images appeared a while back for the Power of the Primes exclusive Wreck-Gar, we also now have some in hand images thanks to regular source of toy news Hobbymizer - the Hong Kong based Facebook group - and its users Oscar Fung and Andy Leung!

The images show both the vehicle and robot mode, including the new head and reused accessory for the Junkion, and the compatibility with the Prime Masters (Onyx Prime shown in some shots here), the instructions showing how to attach the weapon, and some of the poses this reuse of Combiner Wars Groove can strike.
