Went to Wal Mart today and they had Voyager Ultra Magnus! I almost pee'd my pants.

Prime Dead End

Yes, Prime Deluxe Waves 3 and 4 have hit the Netherlands, as well as Commander Wave 2 with Skyquake. I saw them last week, with Dead End, Knock Out and Airachnid, but only saw a single Dead End today.

Last I read Hellflame Gul will be made available again on December 1st, to compliment Shining Gra B and Terrorcon Zori, all AEON exclusives. The three form the Solar Ion Arrow Super Combo Weapon, with Ion Energon Crystals.

On Monday I picked up Voyagers Ultra Magnus and Thundertron. I like them both, Magnust could just use a bit more red and silver on the torso.

Monday I got AM Thundercracker, AM Nemesis Prime, FE Optimus Prime, and HFTD Brimstone

I snagged a Kup tonight, unfortunately the store didn't have Rumble. Him, Shadow Strike Bee, Starscream, and Skyquake are now the only PRID figures I'm missing.

Got AM Jet Vehicon yesterday. Great stuff! Apart from the pink he's great. He seems to have better leg articulation than the Car Vehicon.

Today, I picked up the First Edition Entertainment Pack with Deluxe Optimus & Megatron w/ Jack, Miko, and Raf at TRU.

I've been eyeing that. Is it good?

Very. I especially like Megatron's jet mode. The 'bots are definitely not one for scale, but they're really good (Megatron more so than Optimus).

The primary reason I got this is for the figurines of the three children, which would be perfectly accurate if Miko had the "alien" on her shirt with a little more pink streaks in her hair. Also, I would've preferred Raf had better painted shoes and Jack have painted shoes period, but that's just being too nit-picky.

Regardless, this set was definitely worth the 34 bucks. Definitely glad I looked at their Transformers inventory one more time before leaving, as I missed it the first time around. T'was the last one.

The kids are really the selling point of the entire set, and they are fantastic. They molded insane amounts of detail on the figurines. The paint apps are actually quite good for such a small scale. (I can't understand why larger figures have such derpy paint apps...)

Their heads turn, but I wouldn't risk Miko's. Mine, like several others, has a neck that's too tight and the head wants to tear off, literally.

Hard to believe that it's nearly a year since I started this thread

In that time I've been a really big fan of the Prime line, faults and all. From the ping-pong decision making over the FE's, thru to the spotty distribution of the main line (I'm looking at you Vehicon!), the aesthetic has really captured me.

From a collectors standpoint, Hasbro and Takara have really taken this line in two different direction. No longer do we just have to choose if we want metallic paint or not, but if we want a Mini-con or not and the number of Takara only paint schemes is well into double figures now.

I love the Arms Microns, I can see why people don't like the sticker sheets, but one fans Armada Sideswipe is another fans Masterpiece Convoy. I couldn't afford to buy AM over the Hasbro editions, so I figured since the Microns were pricey, I might as well make it worth while. With that thought I tried to collect as many "campaign" Microns as I could, to make a really interesting compliment to my PRID collection.

To date Takara have released no less than 26 promotional Microns so far

Those of you that have followed some of my posts will have seen that I have managed to acquire a fair few, with only two sub-sets having eluded me so far....

This morning the postman arrived with my latest purchase, a Micron I had dismissed as being made of unobtanium and that I didn't think I would even see for sale, let alone buy.

My Christmas present to myself is Lucky Draw Golden Hades








I like to finish this post by saying a big "Thank you" to Jelze Gold rabbit for her encyclopedic and invaluable knowledge of Microns. She really has spurred me on to look up some items I didn't even know existed, leading me to find the ones I had been searching for. My hat is well and truly off to her

He was as expensive as you'd think, the seller was asking an overly inflated amount, especially when you see the ludicrous amounts people ask for LD's. I just jumped on him as soon as I saw him. I can't imagine how few opportunities I would have to own a piece like this....so I bought it. Even Mrs. S understood!

And you have been a big help, looking up info you have given me has led me to see other items people had for sale and then what other buyers looked at and it snowballed from there... Not just with AM, but with the Unicron Trilogy stuff too, these promotional Microns are addictive!!

Now if I could just find the Hellflames at a reasonable price...

Great job! Now you only miss Hellflame Gul for the Solar Ion Arrow weapon (assuming you still have Terrorcon 'Bee) I still haven't decided which Arms Micron toys to get now, and us getting the final Deluxe wave in (with Kup and Rumble) did not help.

Went to TJ Maxx, and they had nothing. Went next door to Target, and picked up the only Prime Voyager Thundertron among millions of Bumblebees.

Marshalls had nothing, but Ross had an Ultra Magnus. Too bad I already have him.

Side note: Target also had a value pack with DOTM Bumblebee and Air Raid for 10 bucks. Only got it for Air Raid.

Sheesh! I just stopped by TRU on my way home and they had the FE reissues minus Optimus and most of the fourth wave of Prime figures. I picked up FE Bulkhead and Dead End. One crazy haul tonight!

Stopped by TRU yesterday and saw all the First Editions minus the Voyagers. For the PRID Line, there was nothing but managed to snag the last Ultra Magnus they had. After forking over $30 for him, I made a pact with myself never to buy Transformers there anymore, even though always have a better selection then Target

Now I'm stuck facing price, or more choices.
