I like some of the ideas here to use this as a sort of Sharkticon commander. I like the head there but I would really like to see someone do a better resemblance to a Sharkticon head for this. I think I'd actually throw that into my Classics display with the Botcon Sharkticons.

Also from the Transformers facebook page we have our biggest and clearest images yet of the upcoming Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Voyager Class Megatron. This version of Megatron is heavy retool of his existing Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise Voyager Class figure. Images mirrored below.

It look like a modern take on Skybite and this bot is just standing there, wondering what's goin on!

Anyway, he look awesome enough to be a sure purchase. I wonder if a 3rd party company already have a few alternate heads in devlopment for that mold.

Yep, that badge is neither Predacon nor Decepticon.

And we're sure this is Megatron and not Sharkticon? That logo... Is just too odd. It is both Decepticon and Shark mixed into each other. Definitely something fishy (pun intended) going on.

Speaking of odd smells, that face makes me think he was in the furthest back seat of a car where there are no adjustable windows and someone just cut the cheese. I make that face every time.

If that doesn't get a repaint with a new head as Depth Charge I'll be incredibly surprised.

Even has his funky little fish gun to go along with it.

The new 'Con symbol sucks. I get it's meant to be the basic symbol with some beastly mandibles, but it just looks like a 'Bot's punched it so hard it's cracked and dangling at the hinges.

Although I suppose it does match the new slack-jawed Megatron head. They really screwed up the Photoshopping on this one. The base figure is still pretty cool though.

Are you even sure about that? All we saw was a prototype with the alternate head mold, that doesn't necessarily mean an upcoming release. Remember the Ratchet and Rumble prototypes with the alternate heads?

Oooh, those. I thought we were talking about some prototypes of the Universe/Reveal the Shield molds of Ratchet and Rumble that I didn't know about.

In that case, carry on, the stupid question has been answered.

Takara United Beast Megatron should just get rereleased with a purple face, that'd be fine for a Generations BW Megs. The Grimlock retool is just Grimlock with a weird head.

Sharkticon Megs as Depth Charge though? I could see that. The head on the actual one is different enough from the standard Megs (even Prime Megs) head that I can see it as a different character already. Maybe just pop TFPrime Depth Charge's Dreadwing's head off and fit it on this body? I don't have both the molds (no Skyquake in my shops yet) to test it with, but if the balls/sockets are a match it'd be fine for a custom I think. Not sure on Depth Charge having the big teeth-y front though...maybe Skybyte would be a better pick?

Well guys, we don´t know for sure but, as I said, everything can be possible in the 30th anniversary!

Thanks to Chingmungmung website, we have an image of the Beast Hunters Voyager Megatron figure sporting a Sharkticon deco! The image, mirrored below, also confirms that the figure's official name is just Megatron, and it comes equipped with a Tartarex Warp Sword - whatever that may be.
