Looks like the new season of Prime is getting it's own world premiere screening. Check out David Sobolov's Facebook post. The invitation below also gives us a new CGI rendering of Beast Hunters Optimus.

It's going down on the 14th of March at the Globe Theatre in Universal Studios Hollywood.

Oh look, a world premiere happening in the US. That's new. :P

(I'm not serious by the way.)

Is it a free thing for all people in the park, then? As in, do people have to pay for admission, but then can get in for free (as long as they've RSVPed)?

The LA Times' Hero Complex recently interviewed Transformers Prime executive producer Jeff Kline regarding the upcoming third and final season, Beast Hunters, which premieres on March 22nd. In the interview he mentions that while this will mark the end of Transformers Prime saga he believes fans will be satisfied this chapter's conclusion. He also mentions new characters being brought in the bolster the ranks of both factions. He kept their identities under wraps, but says some will be familiar to fans. In closing he states that even though this iteration of Transformers is coming to it's end the creative team is already working on a new Transformers show that will be going into production soon. Unfortunately he was unable to give any details on the upcoming show. The full article can be read by clicking here.

I believe that at the end of episode 313, you will feel like this particular tale in the ‘Transformers’ mythology has been told.

Hopefully there will be some surprises, but you will be satisfied.

Speaking of Transformers Prime Beast Hunters, this season's premiere episode will be getting the red carpet treatment a week prior this season's official debut on the Hub. David Sobolov, the voice of Shockwave, shared the image mirrored below via his facebook page. The Hub will be screening the first episode as a special event on March 14th.

Well, that image seems legit enough to confirm that Optimus is getting that nice and bulky upgrade.

Familiar characters? Ultra Magnus, no doubt about it.

I hate to say, I got a little overexcited about this. I thought this would be a television premiere at first. :-(

Welp, I think we have our answer to how long Prime's likely to be out of commission. 1-2 whole episodes.

It will never beat Animated Optimus's record of a whopping 72 seconds.

Full tale told... like hell. You're just saying what Hasbro needs you to.

I don't blame you for following their edicts... I just wish the ride could've lasted longer. :-(

A LOT longer.

I completely agree. I find it difficult to believe that they can introduce new characters, introduce a new factions and tie up all other parts of the story in just 13 episodes. At least, not in a satisfying way as Kline stated. I really hope I'm wrong though. I for one, have especially enjoyed this series and will be sad to see it go.

I know I'm spoiled from Beast Wars, Beast Machines and now Prime, but I am partial to the CGI animations. To me, this type of rendering fits with Transformers more than regular animation. That's why, despite really enjoying the story and plot lines in Animated, I can't love it the way I have these. It's personal preference, but I just hope the next show is CGI as well. Maybe they learned how to be more efficient or maybe there's new technology that can cut costs and still get a great CGI show.

If only the ride hadn't been stuck in neutral so much in season 1 and then breaking the speed limit at times in season 2, while only going at a decently steady pace sparingly here and there.

Well, this is the first time we've gotten a direct connection between the new Prime body and the show, right? It was already obvious, though. Here's hoping all that satisfying conclusion scrap's not a lie!

Well, haven't we gotten a satisfying conclusion to a TF cartoon before?

Honest question.

Beast Wars and Beast Machines both REALLY hit it out of the park, Armada was okay, and Cybertron was great. RiD was very satisfying as well.

Indeed! Other than Sky-Byte (which his Hall of Fame bio eventually touched upon), I can't think of any loose ends left open by that series.

Except for when a bunch of characters were dumped like bags of garbage. Tigerhawk, Depth Charge, Rampage, Inferno, Quickstrike...

Only loose end I see left by BW was its being unable to go into what the Vok's deal was, leaving it to authorial intent that was mostly never realized in the fiction and scantly-released comic to explore them.

Thing is, they were hinting and building up to something big with them all series, and Tigerhawk's debut episode was meant to be their big moment. However, Hasbro's insistence of getting the Tigerhawk toy out on the market and into the TV show before its end derailed that, reworking the episode into being how awesome Tigerhawk's toy is.

Granted, he's still awesome, but he was gonna be the icing to the Vok's cake. We got plenty of icing, but only cake crumbs. :-(

Don't get me wrong fleshing that out would have been intriguing, we got what we got however.
