Told ya'll it isn't Ironhide.

I was really hoping with this title, it would of been Ironhide being introduced. Wheeljack should be back for good though. And I still have a gut feeling, he would bring the Dinobots into the mix.
I'm glad to see Wheeljack again but I still think he should have been somebody else. Although Prime Wheeljack is not G1 Wheeljack just like Prime Arcee isn't G1 Arcee, at least Arcee in both incarnations was a fighter in the front lines. That said, I think Wheeljack should have been cast as a weaponer/tinkerer of sorts; upgrading the Autobots' weapons systems and could have been Ratchet's long lost friend instead of Bulkhead. An episode could end with the kids stumbling upon a previously unknown cavern in Autobot HQ which would reveal... fossilized dinosaur bones! Now that's an homage to G1 I would like to see!
Now what would be fun would be to see the brothers Sideswipe and Sunstreaker and they could be cast as twins instead of just siblings. They could be Bulkhead's long lost friends.
Everyone seems to be assuming that Wheeljack is going to build the Dinobots. THe Dinobots are already built. Shockwave did it (see Fall of Cybertron). They are likely crashed and disabled on Earth somewhere and Ratchet will fix them up and revive them...or they haven't landed on Earth yet. WHo knows...but Wheeljack isn't going to build them.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...

There's a lot of Geewhining going on in this thread regarding Wheeljack.

It's funny that you assume that the writers give a thought about this stupid aligned continuity idea. Because at most they care about Exodus and Exiles, but WFC and FOC are completely different.
The Hub has uploaded a second extended preview clip of this week's all new episode of Transformers Prime "Loose Cannons". Wheeljack makes his return, and Dreadwing makes his debut. Check out the embedded video below.

So it is the "Jackhammer" instead of the "Star Hammer".
Also, ZOMG, you killed Seaspray, you dastard!

The Jackhammer... Sweet! Given the previous descriptions of this episode, did anyone else think his description of how he survived the proximity bomb was a little... off? Given the title, who thinks we'll get to see Fowler blow a few gaskets?

(Also, why would a shape changing robot from a metal planet with no oceans be named Seaspray?)
It's entirely plausible that Cybertron could have had oceans. The Quintesson world had oceans and cybernetic aquatic life so why not Cybertron?
It does suck that they killed off the chance of bringing Seaspray to the show but I suppose that if the Autobots want some water based support personnel, they can always have Broadside make an appearance.
