I was wondering something similar. They say legion class, but they seem to be more like the "Commander Class"

Also, I noticed in the pictures taken by Seibertron that there is a WOLF Deluxe that we dont have in the official hasbro pics, as well as a few 3-step changers (I see a big Optimus, Bumblebee and Strongarm in the background)

This guy? For sure. IA shared characteristic this time around with the simple transformation is how the hands do not articulate/rotate. And this figure fits that bill.

Yeah, it does drive me crazy that we lost our consistent size class names. It's funny how the fan base generally ignores the current classes and sticks with the least confusing versions... ala basic, deluxe, etc. I did like the introduction of Titan class. Hope they do more bots that size.

But agreed. After seeing most of the RID line shown here, I can't help but say I'll pass on a lot of it. It has that look as if a "super-hero-like robot shape" has been molded on the bottom of each car... not so much like parts of the vehicles actually MAKE the robot body parts.

Given, I'm sure a lot of these are the lower end kid toys. I'll be open minded as more of the line is revealed.

I am sorry to be such a downer but I want to warn you that there is a great chance you won't get more complex conversions, at least at this size class. The evidence is in the description:

TRANSFORMERS: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE WARRIORS Assortment
(Ages: 6 & up /Approx. Retail Price: $14.99/Available: Spring 2015)
Each TRANSFORMERS: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE WARRIORS figure features a character from the all new animated series, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, coming to Cartoon Network in 2015. Warrior figures feature updated puzzle play for fans that want the classic TRANSFORMERS experience. These highly detailed figures are great for collectors and kids as they convert from robot to vehicle in 10 steps or less. High articulation means more action play, as kids can pose their figures and play out their favorite battles from the new animated series. Each sold separately.

I think this is them telling us, this is as good as it gets. I would highly recomend not being too hopeful or you will get dissapointed.

And sorry bluecatcinema

The Description for "Titan Class"? The Titan Heroes and Guardians are those "shampoo bottles", non-transforming, only moving arms (and possibly legs) and hardly any paint. It's not Metroplex Titan Class.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

We lost size class naming consistency a long time ago, when Hasbro tossed out six years of consistent naming when they introduced the Armada line in 2002.

Oh yeah... I know THESE Titans are shampoo bottles. LOL

Well, with any TV series we've gotten loads of sizes for the major characters. (Bee, I'm looking at you.) I'm still optimistic we might get some more before RID closes the doors.

We have been consistent with names since Cybertron which is like 9 to 10 years ago, adding (Legion, Commander) and removing classes (Ultra) since then. Beast Wars and RiD 2001 were consistent, but Armada and Energon were not, tho the sizes of the last two are consistent with current trends.

Looking at the RiD 2015 Warriors more closely, wouldn't anyone agree they're more like those Simplified Deluxes from Beast Hunters? Maybe "Warrior" would mean "Simple Deluxe"... :-?

Maybe YOU think it's a joke. I for one look forward to it, and I'm sure they'll be plenty of kids who enjoy it, just like there were plenty of kids who enjoyed G1, Beast Wars, the Unicron Trilogy and Animated. Collectors aren't the target demographic for this series.

Also, an animated Generations series would be way too cost-prohibitive. The IDW comics can get away with being more adult-orientated because, well, they're comics, and thus are much less expensive to make. Animation costs a fortune to produce, and the target demographic of, say, and animated adaptation of the IDW comics, would be too small to justify the immense costs of animating it. It might work in Japan, where animation is much more widely accepted and the animation age ghetto doesn't really exist, but in the US it just wouldn't work.

I feel you, but I just dont see the point of the "animated" aesthetic that is shared by Animated, TF Prime, and RID. Sure they were all geared more for little kids, but WTF is up with the lack of noses ? Did Hasbro survey kids nationwide and confirm that kids dont like noses ? What about Bumblebee's creepy eyebrows ? Did kids demand that type of corny aesthetic from Hasbro ? Does Grimlock really need to have a Jay Leno jaw ? All Im saying is if Hasbro took the same storyline and characters for RID, but drew the aesthetic more serious looking, would less kids watch it ? Would parents ban their kids from watching it if the characters had noses and didnt have silly eyebrows and huge jaws ? You decide ? I personally doubt it would make or break the show, but it would have been a hell of alot cooler.

Definately, but I am scared that this is all we get in terms of deluxes. Spring 2015 is not far away anymore so I dont know why they wouldn't show us more toys. I am hoping so much that these are simplified deluxes (hence not being called deluxes) and that we will get our 10-20 step Deluxe/Voyager/Leader transformers too, but I am not betting on it.

I hear ya, but I have a feeling that RiD 2015 will not get its own Generations entry like Age of Extinction did. If anything, if RiD 2015 really takes off maybe we'll get some later on, who knows?

Seriously disappointed that we're not getting any Voyager or up figures, or any Commander figures or playsets for the micro stuff. Really wish they had more size classes to play around with, but I guess older fans are supposed to want Generations instead and not care about anything that isn't G1. Hasbro, are you TRYING to make this painful for me?

Also not sure how I feel about the circled faction symbols. Seems like an odd choice but might grow on me.

The 3-step changers seem to be the "bigger than Deluxe/Warrior" class for this line.

Can't guess where the color scheme came from.

Also, their pulling another Energon Starscream on us gentlemen. Remember the whole fiasco about them transforming exactly the same?

Out of all of these, the only figure I might consider is Strongarm. I love me some fembot (not that way).

Yeah, but they seem closer to the "Flip and change" toys than to Voyagers. I was hoping for Voyagers or Leaders.

I think the whole "no noses" thing does kinda make sense. They're robots, so they don't need to smell. Plus, it makes them look a little more "alien".

Sideswipe has a face plate in the show (to give a ninja feel). Which pic are you referring to?

Yah! WTF is it with the flat faces? Can't they return back to the style used by the TF Go! combiner teams? Sure their merged forms were at best wonky but their face designs went back to their G1 aesthetic.
