I'm an administrator of a small play-by-post role-playing game site called Dagarthorn's Games. In mid 2006, I began putting together rules for a Transformers game in a modified format of West End Games' D6 System. I finished it approximately a year later. Several of my friends and I play tested it and it turned out to be alot of fun. I'm getting ready to start up a new game in the next few weeks (August 11, 2011), but it could be delayed a week or so as I only have two players right now. I'd like a few more (another two or three). I've tried several other role-playing sites and it seems that players (and understandably so) want to stick with the familiar and not have to learn new rules for a new game.

With that being said, I figured that perhaps the best place to try for potential players for my Transformers game is on a Transformers site. I also figured that anyone who was around to remember the Generation One cartoon while it was originally airing may be familiar with the D6 format. This dates me a bit, but I think it does in a good way.

The game that's starting up is set on Cybeteron prior to the Ark heading for Earth, so there will be warring and exlporing on Cybertron. It will follow the Generation One cartoon fairly closely with some slight changes (nothing too drastic). I can't give too much away on that as they are spoilers.

So, if you're interested, or just want to see what I've got going on at the site, please stop by here. The Core Rules for the game are contained within the board linked above. I'm compiling the Core Rules into a PDF right now, but there hasn't been much emphasis on that since we all like having the Core Rule Chapters online. I'm available to help with character creation, and will answer any questions you may have regarding the game or rules either here or on my site. Please don't make fun of my drawings too much.

That's a really awesome looking game you've got going there. You clearly know your stuff and the amount of detail you've included on the various characters and diagrams you've produced are quite outstanding. I'm genuinely very impressed. Unfortunately, I'm already involved in Seibertron's RPG and my life is pretty hectic as it is, but I wish you all the best with it!

Yeah, life is pretty hectic here too. That's why I'm only running this game, otherwise it would be too much with the family and work coming first.

We're still looking for players. I know it might not be the most ideal time with lots of people getting ready to go back to school and all, but when things get more settled, come on by and check us out.

Big news!...Well, at least it is in my neck of the woods. I just compiled a working copy pdf. of the Core Rules for the upcoming game. It can be found here. I know some folks are particular about having printable rules, and while these may be a little rough, they're edited more so than what we've used in the past. ;D I'll be putting up a more refined edition in time, but for now, these will do nicely.

Up to three players now. Still looking for a few more (two would be nice).

I'll check to see if users can alter the colors of the forum when it pulls up. I've been a member on another one of the sites hosted by proboards and have been able to change the color schematics. If you're schedule frees up a bit, we'd love to have you aboard.

There is a way to set the adjust the colors. I logged on as my player logon and changed the backgrounds to the default for the site. If you like a lighter background and dark letters, it's probably more to your liking. I'm going to log on as the admin and change the color schemes for the site to the default, so you can see what it's like.

We have officially started. Currently I have three players, and possibly two on the way. There are slots still available, so please check us out if you're ready to play.

I like the idea of it. I'm gonna look through the guide and see what I think further.
