Drift needs a color scheme closer to the almost black dark blue of the movie and his upcoming helicopter figure for the Studio Series. Crosshairs needs the improvements of the TLK remold with the paint job of the "Autobots United 5-Pack" figure. He's also a bit of a "Cogman" opportunity in that he too was scarce to non-existant at U.S. retail, so this is a chance for many fans to get that mold for the first time. Maybe some slight retools of AoE or TLK Voyager Hound with premium paint jobs would do too. Neither movie had a perfectly detailed (in terms of sculpt) representation of Hound, but each comes close in different ways and could easily be fixed with just a bit of a redesign, like the arms of AoE Hound or the feet on TLK Hound, for instance. And, of course, let's get a good Evasion Mode prime with a proper rusty deco. None of the attempts made by Hasbro or Takara Tomy got the rusty look anywhere close to right the first time around.

I would argue that Slug should get a voyager. They have made some large Voyagers, and Scorn is a perfect figure, so they shouldn't mess with perfection. I doubt a Slug would sell to the general public at $50 too.

I would also argue that TLK Hound was near spot on. The colors needed to be darker, but he was pretty much there. I don't know what you mean by his feet, they were very cleverly done and he can hold poses. Crosshairs does need a better paintjob, but I wouldn't buy him a 3rd time. And I wouldn't mind a break from Optimus for a bit. He's about to get his 4th toy of the line. A rusty Prime as a Selects wouldn't be a bad idea though.

There's nothing structurally or functionally wrong with TLK Hound's feet, they're just very off model, that's all. The feet, though made of faux parts, on the AoE figure look much more screen accurate.

What I think he means by a slight adjustment to TLK Hound's feet is to make them more movie accurate. In the movie, he had those tire toes like in AOE, which the Voyager doesn't have, but I wouldn't mind just a more movie accurate paintjob with the Takara Movie The Best accessories. I would absolutely love a rerelease of Evasion Mode Optimus Prime in a rusty deco, as I need to experience that insanely perfect figure(and honestly, who can have too many Primes :-P

). I wouldn't mind a rerelease of TLK Crosshairs, but I would rather get a new mold. TLK Crosshairs is a good figure, but I want to see if we can do better. Same goes to Bugatti Drift. Now that I think about it, I think Voyager versions of all the Dinobots are neccesary, and they would probably fit in well too.

Anyone have the same fun issue with Op38’s calf panels? I’ve taken to using little clear rubber bands to hold them together but the rest of him is so awesome I don’t care that much.

Honestly I feel if he was a total loss I’d still be happy just to have that rifle. It’s my absolute favorite Prime rifle, ever.

And I only have dipped twice into the Studio series, Op38 and Grimlock. I’d totally buy a Voyager Swoop. I loved the deluxe mold.

His calves don't hold together perfectly, but they don't swing loosely, so it's ok with me.

He definitely has some components that don't hold together perfectly, but he's still pretty darn good and solid

I owned 2 so far and they were totally different in random places in terms of things connecting. The one i have now has no problem with his calves. They connect together with tiny pegs and don't undo.

Fellow Seibertronians, hope for finding the new Studio Series exclusive Transformers The Last Knight Drift internationally has been raised as sightings of the exclusive have found it in Canadian retail. The figure has been sighted in EB Games by Cybertron.ca members Wesperino and C-Spray in Ontario and Manitoba, where it retails for $39.99 CAD. All of you in Canada, I would recommend checking your local EB Games, as these toys usually show up at the same time all across the country.

Another sighting for this exclusive has also shown that the figure has made its way to Malaysian retail, where it was spotted by TFW2005 member fathi_haziq in a Toys R Us at Mid Valley Megamall, and retails for 139.90RM.

I got my Drift last week, and opened him up. Haven't messed with him much since the Beasts have taken priority, but he's a bit loose and his swords won't tab into his robot mode storage.

Also, where the heck does that big sword store in any of his modes?

Not sure if this is news, but Walmart just discounted both SS Dropkopter and WW2 Bee. Curious as to why Dropkopter isn't discounted more than this though, seeing as his status is currently "warming shelves".

Dude the paint the eyes is super rad. Anytime there's detail that small like when they got some of the TR/PotP mini fig faces done really well it just makes me go mmph.

I assume you mean what can be purchased at retail right now, and my answer would depend on your location. I also assume you are interested in any Studio Series jetformers.

My first and foremost recommendation would be the Studio Series Starscream, in either deco. While I myself prefer the 2007 version, there's also the ROTF version that may be more easier to find now.

Studio Series Thundercracker is also great, but you might have a harder time finding him, as he is an exclusive. You can order him online right now, and I hear you can find him in stores in the UK so far, but he is worth the hunt in my opinion.

If you are willing to wait, there is a KSI Boss figure coming out soon, who is a redeco of TLK Nitro Zeus, and like Thundercracker, is a great figure.

If you are willing to wait even longer, there may be a jet mode Shatter coming out, but right now, it's just a rumor.

As for Autobots, there's only Leader class Jetfire, who I hear is amazing, so there's that to consider

You can get Dropkick pretty easily (if you haven't been following or haven't checked your local stores in ages, he is a massive shelf warmer), and he is on clearance in both Walmart and Target now, so you can get him at a discount. Some people don't like him because he isn't accurate at all to the movie, but I think he's fine.

Blackout is a fiddly figure, but I love mine to bits, so I would recommend him if you can deal with alot of parts at the same time.

Drift may be the better version of the DropKopter mold, as he looks really accurate in both modes, and looks great.

Mostly, all is good in that area

I just ordered both starscreams, thundercracker, blackout, dropkick...Drift isnt out yet as a heli. i think in august he should be around. ill preorder Drift and KSI Boss also eventually. i just ordered them through amazon and should get them tomorrow. not too bad pricing, seems cheapest and if i find them cheaper in stores i can always get a price match no problem. Ill update my collection once i receive these tomorrow
