I believe it. Ive been to 3 different stores which had studio series deluxes and I have yet to have seen a bumblebee. Considering how many people complained about the figure when it first got came out, I was expecting he would be warming the shelves. I thought everyone was buying out the bumblebee figure for whatever reason. Interesting to hear that this case isn’t just my local stores.

Seems plausible to me. I've seen exactly one Bumblebee in all my travels so far, out of what must be about 15 or so cases' worth of Studio Series Deluxes. Almost grabbed him too, I really want that Camaro - but he's sooo tiiiiny! Just couldn't do it for the price; hopefully he'll eventually become common enough that I can pick him up at a discount later.

I wonder if it's possible that those are early cases? We know VW Bee was supposed to be in wave 1 and got yanked and replaced at the last minute with the Camero Bee after the movie got pushed back. Maybe they had a bunch of cases that had VW Bee in them already and pulled him, but replaced him with the other three characters instead of Camero Bee?

Hey guys!

Can anyone help me tighten a joint on my new SS optimus prime.

His right ankle joint is a bit loose, not the side to side tilt but the front to back tilt. Its that large metal disc is there anything I can do to make that tighter?

for pins like that, if find it best to put a small amount of Krazy Glue on the disk and move the joint so that the glue can get under it

Ok, just a drop? I don't want to torque things too hard once it dries and break anything. I have a nice loctite glue I think that is runny enough to get underneath the disk. I will apply it to the narrow gap between the disk and the plastic and move the joint to let it seep in. Should I just keep moving the joint while it dries so it never locks up to much?

Definitely keep the joint moving while the glue dries, that gives you the best chance of not having anything lock up. It seems like a really scary thing to do - and it kind of is - but as long as nothing goes wrong it does work quite well (for a while at least)!

Will this work on the crappy joints of Dradonstorm's dragon forearms? Those pin joints should have been ratchets for all the weight they have to support. #-o

I highly recomend to never use glue unless you want to glue something. The odds ar higher that it will dry and you will then break your figure. It has happened to me, it can happen to you.

Some superglues also tends to melt plastic slightly (a few of the really strong superglues explicitly states not to use it on plastic) so even if you do keep working it so it doesn't freeze the joint now, it could still freeze it later.

I don't have that figure so don't know exactly what you're referring to. But in the past I've had success with all sorts of floppiness by using nail polish. I hear Pledge is better, but I don't have any and my wife had nail polish she wasn't using any more. It even comes with an applicator, which I found useful.

I'm still finding Bumblebee on shelves in my area (Twin Cities), though he's definitely the rarest Studio Series deluxe to find in the wild. Again, I think it's just that Bumblebee sells, so he's more likely to be picked off the pegs first. I'd say Crowbar is the slowest to move in the first wave, but honestly, not by that much. The Studio Series is selling like hot cakes right now.

I was thinking recently about upcoming characters for the Studio Series, and I wonder how they're going to pull off Skids and Mudflap. Bumblebee is already an incredibly small deluxe figure, and if the Studio Series is all about robot mode scale, both Skids and Mudflap should be even smaller than Bumblebee. I'm betting they'd be packaged together, but at what price point? Deluxe? Voyager?

Easy answer: they wont

They will pretend those characters never happened.

C'mon, that's mean. Beside, the DOTM deluxes were decent toys and the HA ones were pretty solid.

I wonder if they could make them as the ice cream truck, but at voyager scale? I mean a vehicle that is VERY compact, combined of the two bot modes that would be deluxe sized? The ROTF deluxe was okay but fiddly. Plus the bots were only scouts. I'd like to see the idea improved.

I wouldn't mind this idea either. I own the original Ice Cream truck version and the DotM versions, and while I like both in alt mode, both have robot mode weaknesses, mainly how round the DotM deluxes are, and Skids arms are complete rubbish.

Also, so far I have only seen a single Crowbar. That is it for the line. Kinda disappointed in the stores around here with their stock. Grim came from Amazon and TC from Densh, it's the only reason I have SS guys right now

Exclusive Transformers Studio Series Thundercracker Found at Toysrus Canada

Postby william-james88 » Thu May 03, 2018 10:28 pm

Motto: "'till All Are One"
It took quite a while to get there, but now Canadians can find the Toysrus exclusive voyager Thundercracker in their nearest Toysrus store. There are reported sightings from all across the country at almost the same time. The specific sighting below comes from the Anjou location in Montreal. This exclusive Thundercracker can be found with its own specific SKN 389673 and sells for $39.99 CDN, the same price as non exclusive voyager toys in the Studio Series line.

While this toy continues to be found in the US at the Toysrus locations still open, it will also be available on Entertainment Earth. While it is mainly a redeco, the toy itself has been getting great feedback from the fan community so it is nice to know that anyone in either the US or Canada can easily get one for their collection.

Not only TC is available aplenty, but it happen on pay day and just when I FINALLY went to TrU after so long.

Also, it's VERY appreciated that it's not 10$ or 15$ more for reasons like TLK's bullcrap Mission to Cybertron subline.

Megatron looks cool.

Kapow toys in UK have wave 2 and Toys R Us Thundercracker up for pre-order. Which is nice.

Jazz and Lockdown £24.99 each
Megatron and Brawl £29.99 each
Thundercracker £32.97
