Anyway, back to actual Studio Series.

I wonder, with the Devastator set release, would it be possible to get an Infernocus set or even the dragon combiner later down the road? I'm guessing they wouldn't get the individual members released, but I think a set is doable. They would all have to be Devy-sized, though.

I'd say there's no barrier to it, realistically, hasbro could bring us every bot we saw on screen.

Though I think this line could get very busy in the future if every film they are planning comes our (then sequels etc), makes me wonder how much continuity they'll have design wise.

I'd be so down for an TLK Infernicus set. Same size as CW Devastator, 6 voyager bots that combine, no partsforming at all. Meaning each parts will have it's dedicated place in the combiner. Like SS ROTF Devastator actually. The whole thing would look like it came straight from HELL! Oh, and call this "blasphemy" but the demons didn't have an altmode beside combining. So that would be some engineering saved for perfect individual bot modes and a perfect combined mode.

When it comes to Infernocus and The Knights, I wouldn't want them to have individual releases since each figure never had a individual alt-mode. I would prefer them to come in box sets. For Infernocus, I would want 6 voyager bots(2 arms, 2 legs, 1 lower torso, 1 upper torso and head) that go from robot to combined mode only. For the knights, I would want 12 voyagers (4 legs, 2 wings, 1 head, 5 body/neck/tail) that go from robot to combined form. For both sets they would not be cheap, but since they only have robot and combined form they could save money there. In the case of the knights, I would love to see a figure expand and flatten out into one of the wings.
I would also love a giant driller that is like 4 feet long, fully articulated and with smaller appendages on it (maybe should have the ark piece as an accessory).
But these are all just dreams and I doubt Hasbro will ever do them :-(

They would make sense to be voyagers scale-wise, but they would be expensive exclusives, especially the dragon. We would ve looking at probably $400-$500 for that set.

Infernocus I think would be the more feasible of the two to complete, I don't think it's likely but it'd be cool.

Speaking of Dragonstorm, how many knights would you want there to be? I'm not sure they'd be able to do all 12, but hopefully there'd be more than two like the TLK leader.

Also have some info on Buzzworthy from TFW:

- JTPrime found a listing for a Studio Series Buzzworthy vs 2 pack, priced for 2 deluxes.

- 2 leakers have said that we'll be getting High Octane Bumblebee (the 67 Camaro from AOE) in Buzzworthy. No listings or anything concrete, so take this with a grain of salt.

I'm thinking the vs pack could be Bumblebee and Barricade, maybe with a tiny Frenzy? There's already been a release of 76 Camaro Bee in Buzzworthy though, so maybe not.

Again, little skeptical on High Octane Bee but if it does pan out I'm really excited. I really like the design but I'm not a fan of the original figure at all, so I'd be happy for the design to get some justice.

But wouldnt this just be a reissue of the original figure?

For High Octane Bee? No, I don't think so. It's probably an early release scenario like what we got with SS-74 ROTF Bee

I really hope this turns out to be true. It's possibly my favorite Bee design from any of the movies, and it would be great if it finally got a good figure. Hopefully it would be a new mold based on SS49 (or at least a heavy retool of that mold).

I know sizes aren't exactly accurate in Studio Series, but I think people are overthinking how big Infernocus is. He's supposed to be 42' tall to the top of his horns while Jetfire is 50', Demolisher is 74', Grimlock is 84' and Devastator is 103'. He should be a hefty figure, but combined I wouldn't want him any more than "tall leader".

Dragonstorm on the other hand is made up of 12 bots, most of which are the same size as Prime so he should be a massive creature, though I can't find any mention of the dragon form's height (or width for that matter) so maybe we should just call him "out of range". He's never getting made properly.

These were my thoughts on it. Prime was pretty clearly larger than the individual bots of Infernocus when they split apart. They would make more sense as deluxes. A true Dragonstorm made up of 12 voyagers is completely unworkable.

I kind of doubt we ever get Infernocus either, though. Devastator was wild enough, and that's made up of several popular characters among the fandom (at least in part because of their G1 incarnations), AND from one of the most successful of the movies. I don't see the demand for a combiner who isn't made up of popular characters (The Infernocons don't even have names and look identical in robot mode) and came from arguably the worst of the Bayverse movies. Especially given how expensive they would end up being.

FYI, Targets in my area (Colorado) finally restocked Studio Series stuff. Found the Dino I wanted, but they also had B-127's and Bumblebee Starscream. Hadn't seen any of these in stores before, so hopefully others will see them soon.

In that case, Infernicus made out of 6 smallish deluxes like Jazz, with no altmode, no accessories and only the combined mode would make total sense. This would be a set sold at Commander price I think. Even if TLK is a very bad movie, it had cool robots and Infericus deserve a perfect toy representation.

That's pretty sad. They had a nice thing going by making a new torso mold. They could have went the extra mile and did the same for the other 4 limbs.

Still, we never know. HASTAK surprised us many times before... :-?

No, different figure. High Octane Bumblebee is the black Classic Camaro from AoE:

I found Starscream and B-127, bought them, and now once again I have every figure from The Bee Movie. I'm honestly impressed by Starscream, he's a bit better looking than Blitzwing and it's interesting how they approximate the same robot mode with different alt modes. I think I was one of the people who was dismissive of the idea that Starscream wasn't just a Blitzwing retool, so I'd like to eat my words. The only issue I have is that the mushroom peg on his left wingtip keeps popping out and I haven't determined why. (Incidentally my Earthrise Thundercracker has the same problem.) I would assume it's warped but I don't see anything off about the peg or socket.

Group photo time.

Oh that reminds me, that 77 Camaro Bumblebee mold is awful and it will be staying in car mode 99% of the time.

I don't know if I'm down for an entire seeker squad, but as the Bumblebee movie is about the only live action film I want to build a collection for.... we'll see. I kind of want to get more SS figures but at this point, other than AOE Dinobots, I think most characters I would be interested in have come and gone and would be expensive on the aftermarket. Plus I don't really have a spot for them.

I didn't care for the movie and I don't like the character, but I gotta admit that group shot of the 4 different Bees is pretty cool.

Also, if we could get the Blitzwing mold in the Starscream colors it would be awesome.

Oh, I'd say there's a 100% chance of us getting that some day. How CLOSE that day is, hard to say. Age of Extinction came out in 2014, but we didn't get a Grimlock that looked correct until four years later, everything before that was based on old promo art like VW 'Bee. So guessing sometime next year, maybe? (I can't believe that was almost 3 years ago).

It's Bumblebee. I am 100% confident we're getting an updated mold of this version at some point. We have, what, 30 different versions of his 2000's Camaro versions? They'll update this someday. I just hope it'll be a little bigger and less fiddly next time.

I agree though, it will be a new mold, and I HOPE they do a better version of the MPM (not 100% confident on THAT one though ).

Now that I have the 77 Camaro mold, am I wrong in thinking the VW mold is based on it? A lot of the upper half seems to have the same engineering, although the parts, even the skeleton, are different.

All 3 SS earth car molds (VW 77 Camaro and models Camaro) are pretty similar to each other in that way. Basically any of the molds with door wings share similar engineering especially on the upper half.

I decided to get RotF BB with Sam. Pre-ordered from Amazon.

Haven't actually picked up any of the previous SS BBs, but I do have a question, from all of them, which is the best figure in you opinion?

I'm trying to decide if I want to get another SS BB besides the upcoming RotF version.

A High Octane version would be great, that RS 327 version is a cool looking car, and looks great in black.
