So wait, this toy doesn't come with any weapons? Awwww.....

Where do the weapons come from that the figure is holding in that collector's images?

One of them is AOE Hounds gun and I don't know about the second but I assume it comes from the same place.

I still wish weapon packs were a thing. Just a whole bunch of random and awesome guns, swords, shields and such with 5mm posts. Easily equip weaponless figures without depriving others of theirs.

I really do wonder why Hasbro or Takara don't release playsets with their toys

Not for Transformers as far as I can recall but other toylines have had them including Hasbro's own GI Joe.

Id kill for a weapon pack of those little pistol rifles that come with Titan Return Blurr, Chromedome and their repaints since it's the perfect standard troop firearm.

More of a reason for me to bye multiple Getaways as Autotroopers.

Ohhhhhh way to much for Legions if it was a two pack of Drift or Crosshairs with Megs MAYBE I would get it but another Bee , a crappy repaint of a crappy repaint not that really into that OP or Grim either cause I already have and will have that mold As 2014/15 Grimlock, Prime Rippersnapper and Predacons Rising Rippersnapper. Not impressed

Huh the only things that show it's a retool is the white/silver neck piece, the lower legs and feet and presumably the Transformation.

From what I can tell, the lower legs and more importantly, the basic skeleton is reused from Lockdown, with the new Hot Rod parts built around it.

So, would we then call it a reshell?

I mean, Lockdown to Hot Rod seems about as similar a change as Titan class Metroplex to Titan class Fortress Maximus was.

Quite impressed with the Hot Rod fig. He ends up taller than Lockdown!
I'm not quite sure if he'll be sold here in my country since we don't have Walmart but I'm crossing my fingers.

A better comparison would be CW Skydive into Air Raid, or any other major CW retool for that matter. The only difference is that it's not pre-planned and the retool ends being taller thanks to longer body parts.

A redeco and rather major retool of Beast Hunter Abominus, we see here that the packaging proudly displays Infernocus in his combined form along with the tiny little Quintessa figure on the side. I wasn't expecting an exact replica of the CGI renders, but the main color being changed to pitch black is quite a surprise, even with hasbro's track record.

I must admit, I was hoping for a dark graphite/smokey look. I was also thinking it would be smoky clear since those limbs were often seen in clear plastic. But this looks cool. Way too expensive for me though. I am starting to think I will be buying very few retailer exclusives this time.

Dunno how much Infernicus will be but if he's a TrU exclusive, he'll be available aplenty and come on sale soon enough.

The transforming shampoo bottle is the only one I am not getting. Getting the deluxe most certainly. And every other one too save the shampoo.

Hot Rod does look good, but he should have been based on a better mold, maybe to add his door wings?

Also holy cow can't wait for Infernocus!
