Make me wonder why I waited for so long to get him.

Just as an update, every single Wal-Mart, Target, and Toys R Us near me is STILL stuck at Wave 1. I've never seen a wave two or onward deluxe. Period. Save for my three previous purchases (Nitro Zeus, Slash and Barricade), I might be forced to miss out on this entire line. And trust me, that is not what I would have chosen to do.

For anyone like Bronzewolf and I who have struggled to see anything past wave 1, keep an eye on local stores. One Walmart 40 minutes away got the wave 2 deluxes yesterday, it's the first time I have seen them in stores:

I decided to pick up Steelbane because they had him and I wanted to support wave 2, which was out of Drifts and there was still a mountain of wave 1 sitting on top of the shelf.

He is very substandard. Robot mode is pretty sweet with the knight look that I like, but his alt mode just shouldn't exist. Mine had a floopy right shoulder and ankle, but after moving them a little bit, they tightened up, though I still added some tissues to the joints.

Probably should have just passed, but, finally saw wave 2

Just now noticed that the same sale that had TR Overlord on Amazon for $30 also had TLK Voyager Megatron for only $16.13.

Still available for the next 45 minutes. Only came to $17 after tax for me. :D

The best voyager of the line at that price?
Anyone who don't have him yet shouldn't miss out.

Video Review of Transformers: The Last Knight Allspark Tech Sqweeks

Our latest coverage of this figure hailed from Canada back in this story, but thanks to fellow Seibertronian PrimeVsPrime, we now have an in-hand video review for Transformers: The Last Knight Allspark Tech Sqweeks!

Part of the latter end of the movie toyline, the Allspark Tech toys are podgy little box figures which feature electronics and an interactive play pattern of sorts, with cubes fitting the various characters' chests. Check out below how this works for Sqweeks in particular, which follows the likes of Optimus Prime, Nemesis Prime, Megatron, Barricade, Drift, Bumblebee and Hound, then let us know what you think in the Energon Pub discussion boards.

I can'tr help but think this would have been a way better gimmick for the TF2007 movie, you know, that actually featured the Allspark. But maybe the technology wasn't there. Either way, some interesting toys.

So I broke down and bought The Takara version of Cogman from Amazon Japan. All said and done it was still $10 cheaper than the cheapest price I've seen for the Hasbro version.

You won't regret it. Cogman is one of those figures that is worth the extra money.

Just be very careful with the crotch piece. Mine broke during the first transformation

He started appearing at Walmarts in Canada so its possible he will be found at Walmarts in the US in the coming month.

Also there is no such thing as a Takara "version", since both are the same version. Its just released by two different companies.

Well, there's the Japanese / Chinese sticker on the packaging.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't let anyone of either country hear you say that! They're not the same, in fact it's a big pet peeve. :-$

Besides, China is serviced by Hasbro.

What I meant is one OR the other.

I got the "Chinese" version so my sticker was in Chinese. There was even a Chinese instruction manual include beside the standard one.

I'm also a big fan of Chinese Cartoons so I know the difference. ;)

By version I meant release and IDK, the pics make the figure look darker

Don't be fooled by pictures. It's really the exact same toy, box and all. Just a Japanese sticker added on the back and possibly a Japanese instruction manual added inside. Like the "Chinese" version.

The only reason to chose an Asian release over a local one is if the local one just won't show up. Like I did. Ironically, I was still waiting for my Cogman when I finally found one in store. Even though I paid 11$CAN extra over the regular price, I still had to wait a bit for my Chinese one to arrive...

It has been proven to be the exact same figure, D-Max got it a while back. There are no differences.

Same thing with TLK Hot Rod. I got one from Amazon Japan and it was literally just the American "Autobots Unite" figure with some Japanese stickers on it. I do still wonder why he (Hot Rod) never saw a release at B&M in the U.S.

Transformers: The Last Knight Leader Class Optimus Prime found on Clearance

Now that the Christmas/holiday season is over the entire world over, it's clearance time! It's been noted in stories we've posted that Titans Return and RiD figures have been placed on clearance at some retail locations in the U.S., and now, thanks to fellow Seibertronian CPrime18, we have confirmation that the toys from Transformers: The Last Knight are going on clearance as well! He found Leader Class Optimus Prime for a bargain at $25- that's a whopping 50% off! This particular figure was spotted at a Walmart in San Antonio, Texas. Have you seen any TLK figures on clearance? Please let us know by sending a quick email (with photo proof) to sightings@seibertron.com, and also, post them in your local sightings boards and our toy sightings forum to let fellow fans know!

There are parts on the shoulder that look darker compared to the pic on the back. I'll have to look for more pics.

Well, I didn't want it at $49 bucks until now. Maybe if I can get Megatron for the jet mode, I can also get a cheap flight stand! Speaking of, how does Megatron work with a flight stand in jet mode?

The Voyager one works. Not sure about the Leader...
