Transformers: The Ride 3D headed to Universal Studios Orlando? It wouldn't come as a big surprise the Universal Studios Hollywood version has proven to be a popular attraction. According to the poster it's slated for December of next year. Micechat.com has shared the following:
Orlando Parkhopper just acquired a bit of poster art that indicates what Universal Orlando’s next big attraction might be and when it may arrive. Transformers: The Ride 3D has posibly been fast-tracked and may now be under construction at Universal Studios Orlando. The innovative, blockbuster attraction is a design wonder that creates an expansive ride experience with a relatively small footprint. With a streamlined construction timeline, Universal could be attempting to get the ride up and running in a year and a half. Is this a hoax? Is this realistic?
Rumors began swirling when the building known as Soundstage 44 was suddenly demolished at the Universal Studios Orlando theme park. So sudden was the demolition that a haunted House for this years Halloween Horror Nights was actually in mid-construction within the space when word came to demolish the building. The building is now completely leveled, and Universal is about to put up construction walls that will reveal the new addition
The week of June 11th, walls suddenly shot up and the building was gone within a months time.

I really hope so as I have a vacation home about 2 hours away and this would allow me to go often.
I have fond memories of Transformers and Universal. When I was a kid and TF was just starting to get big, and I had only like 1 or 2 Tf toys, my parents took me to Universal Studios Hollywood. There in the corner they had a stage with a tv playing the episodes. I remember just watching and watching those eps and not moving for the longest time. Then a person came out dressed up in a Starscream suit and greeted us. ( Imgaine the mickey mouse costumes but Starscream )
Begged my mom to buy us some TF toys that was being sold in the Universal store across the walkway, My mom didnt but that is when I learned what time TF was playing ( as Starscream asked me if I was watching the show and I said I wanted to but didnt know the time , so he told me LOL )
Good memories

Though, having already seen videos of the ride's plot, there might not be much of any surprise to an Orlando version.
Still, easier to get Deluxe Evac.

Hey, I've no regrets. I'm sure a lot of other people watched them for the same reasons I did, which were in case I'd either never get to go on the ride or if it were to never come to Orlando.

Huzzah! That answers my first question (since the California one opened)!
Second question comes in two parts; will it pull a Jurassic Park & Revenge of the Mummy and be slightly different from the CA ride and if so, how? ^^

I've been compiling a scale list (largest to smallest) of the Film Transformers based on; vehicle/alternate modes (with the best dimension data possible), as many official charts I could find & most crucially, the figures I actually own & desire! If anyone would like a bit of assistance in scale or would simply like a peek at the list, do say so! ^^
(Also been working on something big; I'm a writer, so that's a clue... )

(1st November 2012) – Get ready – it's time to prepare for battle...
Universal Orlando Resort announced that its next blockbuster attraction will be the widely-popular TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D. The groundbreaking ride – created under license from Hasbro, Inc. and based on its iconic TRANSFORMERS brand – will bring the intergalactic battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons to Universal Studios Florida in summer 2013.
Already a "must-see" at Universal Studios Singapore and Universal Studios Hollywood, TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D is a mind-blowing, action-packed ride experience that you have to see to believe. You will come face to face with Megatron. You will dodge explosions and attacks by the Decepticons. You will fight to save mankind alongside Optimus Prime and the Autobots. It will be the greatest battle you'll ever ride.
Universal worked closely with Michael Bay, the award-wining director of the "TRANSFORMERS" film series and the ride's creative consultant, to create an authentic experience that brings the non-stop action of the films to life. The attraction combines the larger-than-life TRANSFORMERS characters and an exciting storyline with life-like HD CGI media, state-of-the-art 3-D technology and amazing special effects to place riders right in the middle of an epic battle between good and evil.
"We broke the mold and have taken this ride to a new technological level in terms of blending seamless 3-D," said Michael Bay, director of the "TRANSFORMERS" films.
"TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D is the perfect addition to Universal Orlando's thrilling theme park experiences," said Mark Woodbury, president of Universal Creative. "The ride has already proven to be a hit at our Hollywood and Singapore parks, and we're excited that Universal Orlando guests will soon be able to join the Autobots in the fight to save the world."
TRANSFORMERS films, television shows and merchandise have captivated millions of people all over the world. To date, three blockbuster films have been released – "TRANSFORMERS" (2007), "TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN" (2009) and "TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON" (2011) – grossing more than $2 billion combined worldwide at the box office. The three films were directed by Michael Bay, executive produced by Steven Spielberg and released by Paramount Pictures.
TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D is slated to open in summer 2013 at Universal Orlando.
