Mostly the latter. I wouldn't doubt that the Botcon screw up with the "Titan Wars" backdrop image on the Combiner Wars banner, along with the Blaster leak around SDCC time may have pushed them to show more than they otherwise would have a bit early. I also don't believe the "fall" timing, I think these will all be out or close to it by next April/May, which is only 7-8 months out.Hellscream9999 wrote:Also, is it just me, or does anyone think that all these reveals feel rushed? These aren't until wave 3 of next year why are these being revealed so soon? Does this mean that bruticus is almost ready for shipping, that next years waves are gonna filter in soon? Or is this just for publicity, or because they needed something new to show off for the show

I don't think we'll see a whole ton more today, I'd bet the bulk of this won't get seen until February's Toy Fair, but would be very pleased to be wrong about that.

Everything else though, I pretty much love and is a buy on sight.

Megatron becomes Galvatron, insane leader of the Decepticons. But he has multiple personalities floating around in his body, a heroic Megatron combatting his body's evil influence.

So Blaster is Titan class, which would make him Devastator-sized?

That could be fun.
It'd be a good way of bringing Megatron back around as Decepticon leader, without undoing/erasing/ignoring all of his character development over the past 10 years.
Not that I really *want* them to bring him back to being Decepticon leader, I'm just saying, if that's what they wanted to do, it'd be a good approach.
I suppose to be fair, candidates for Decepticon leadership is running thin, so if they want to change things up, they may go that route. Overlord: Dead, Jhiaxus: Dead, Ratbat: Dead, Megatron: Redeemed, Shockwave: Redeemed and Dead, Straxus: Relegated to role of forgettable dude from the Dead Universe. Thunderwing: supposedly dead but not confirmed, I guess. Bludgeon was in sort of the same situation. Scorponok was arrested by Magnus, but there wasn't any mention of him when Garrus IX was 'liberated' by Overlord. I guess there's Deszaras and Gigatron, too, not to mention Tarn, and Soundwave could get a promotion/upgrade to Titan Soundblaster with a Leader Class retool from Blaster. Okay, so there's a fair number of choices there...

As well worth mentioning.... Even though the displayed items may not land until next summer...we're likely to see more previews.. It seems Hasbro has clearly taken note of 3rd party and are trying to put compete them by timing similar product to push them out of the market... Skull cruncher.. Head masters... Galvatron...blaster..combiner wars.. I think it was one thing when 3rd party just made accessories but actual decent renderings of their characters...hmmm.. Hasbro was bound to take note

No, Galvatron's little Megatron-esque Titan Master is named Nucleon.RodimusRex wrote:Wow. I thought Nucleon was Galvatron's partner. It's Megatron? Awesome!
