The Titans Return toys do seem to be larger than normal as originally thought. Highbrow for example is about a quarter of an inch taller than CW Dragstrip, who from what I remember was the tallest deluxe of CW. Highbrow may be a normal sized TR figure, but he looks yuge compared to Thrilling 30 toys especially. I see now why some thought before that they were going back to Classics scale.

Omaha is sooooo slow to restock after Xmas. However I did find Twinferno today at Walgreens for their "New Low Price" of $17.99. (don't do us any favors Walgrunts) I did have $2 in Walrewards so that helped.
If you're having trouble finding Deluxes at the usual retailers, Walgreens may have your back. ;)^

I will definitely pick up Chase, Freeway and Searchlight.

Didn't realise Battletrap is a possibility. If so I'll be picking up a 2nd Highbrow to attach him to.

I'd love Wideload retooled from CW Longhaul.

I really am loving this line and it's obscure characters.

Yep, you can! The panel is pinned to the little double-hinge-arm, but that arm is only clipped onto the leg with friction so you can take it off and put it back on without having to worry.

If you're thinking of turning his legs around though, I'd recommend taking the panels off, flipping them upside down and then putting them back onto the opposite leg (so the knee-spike is pointing downward). See how that works for you - I have my Scourge like that, and though the panels don't 'lock in' in robot mode, the knee-spike functions pretty well as a heel so you can have his legs turned around, bendable and still have the calves filled in! Best of both worlds, plus even the vehicle mode looks a little better than default IMO.

Jus saw this from RK as well. I wonder why the repacks for TM's and Legends? Oh well, that saves my wallet a little money anyway...heh Also Krok? ...there are way too many good characters from the 84-88 line left to start doing Action Master Homages.

Well, considering Krok's in the IDW MTMTE comics I'd imagine that there are a good amount of people who'd want to have a figure of him. And with the whole Titan Master gimmick, I think an update to an Action Master figure could come out pretty good. They could make the Titan Master look like an alligator, homageing Krok's partner.

Titans Return Deluxe Kroc and Quake Listings Revealed in 2017 Wave 2 Case Breakdown

Courtesy of Bumblebee21, we now know that Robot Kingdom has posted a breakdown of all the cases in the second wave of the 2017 Titans Return figures. In these listings we finally have the confirmation for Krok and Quake. That makes 5 deluxes in the same wave, since it also includes Perceptor, Kup and Topspin. They are shortpacked which hints at them being simply redecos, like the previous wave's Breakaway. We have no images for these new reveals yet (the one in the thumbnail is a digibash). Which molds do you think they will use?

Also, we have a breakdown for every other class where we see that they are bringing it back to the way waves used to look like a few years back (and the way RID currently works) with older figures repackaged. These are to ship out the first of February. Check them all out below!

Not at all, thats how RID currently works, which is how TFs have always worked since G1. Bringing back older figures to keep them on the shelves. On the last few years of generations did things differently. And even then, the legends class in CW has had repackaged toys.

Oh, That's probably it. Even though that's kinda lame since the original Krok looked like he turned into a vehicle.

They should've did someone with an actual beast mode. Everyone was suggesting Carnivac from Wolfwire.

Even Slugfest from Skullsmasher would be preferable since we already had a deluxe Overkill a few years back.

I'm guessing Krok and Quake will be repaints of Skullsmasher and Hardhead with (maybe) new heads, though it would be great if at least one of them has new tooling on the main body. Either way I can't wait to see what they both turn out like.
I hope a Legends Frenzy happens at some point, it would be an easy enough repaint, though I had a look back through previous Titans Return leaks and they don't mention Frenzy.

Heard good things about Hardhead, and the Titan Masters I have are all blue/purple, so I'm kinda interested in seeing how Quake turns out.

Krok being a Skullcruncher retool is a bit of a mix bag for me, on the one hand he didn't seem to transform into an animal, looked more like a spaceship. Only his partner Gatorraider had anything Croc based about him

On the other hand, getting ageneral release Krok would be nice, it might fix the flaws of the Skullcruncher mold and they could say he got a Chimeracon mode.

Not at all, thats how RID currently works, which is how TFs have always worked since G1. Bringing back older figures to keep them on the shelves. On the last few years of generations did things differently. And even then, the legends class in CW has had repackaged toys.


It still would've made more sense if the carryover figure was Gnaw or even kickback since they're more likely to be troop built while Bumblebee will likely shelf-warm and receive more angst and resentment (it's not like his solo film is out this year so this is a dumb move by Hasbro if true).

In any case I will be grabbing Brawn and Roadburn. Kup and Broadside are a pass but I can't wait to get Sky Shadow.
