Was there a Hasbro Transformers toy named "Spike" released recently?Optimum Supreme wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Off the top of my head, and from Hasbro's side (since Takara TFs with human-sounding names are a dime a dozen)... whatever the last Hasbro toy named "Hightower" was would qualify, as that's a human surname.Kurona wrote:I get the idea they used Daniel's name backwards so as to seem more robotic and such rather than having a human name -- I don't recall the last time a Transformers toy had a human name (not counting the ones that actually are made to be human like those PVC tfp kids).
Uh, Spike? Fort Max's head's head, and leinad's very own father?

This is what I came here to say so I'll just quote this post and add a non-compelling "I agree"steals_your_goats wrote:
See I don't think that is the case for one reason, the strength and speed sets do not come with collector's cards for each individual member. They come with one card that replicates the box art. So it wouldn't make sense for the last two to do something different.
What I think is more likely is that there never were any plans to do 4 big box sets. Everyone just got caught up in the themes of the other two and jumped to conclusions. I think the biggest indicator of that is the Walgreens exclusive clone pack. There's no way that they would have been able to scrape together a deal with Walgreens last minute, this was planned from the beginning. I believe that the Arcee and Ultra Magnus cards instead indicate smaller multi packs that have yet to be revealed.

You know cloudracker has the same under the chest ?

I see you, Roadblock & Longtooth.
Cloudraker and Wingspan came today. I absolutely love these little guys. The arms could do with pegging in somewhere in alt mode (I did it without instructions, maybe I'm just missing soemthing). But they have oodles of character and charm. I've been keeping an eye out for the G1 con clones for years, so I'm happy to be getting this modern version. And Pounce has a little Titan ankle slot behind his bird head so the Titan masters can ride him. And it look ssooooooooo freaking adorable. And worth noting, Cloudraker's wings don't seem to sit flush straight in jet mode, they angle downwards to form a nice triangle with the front landing skid, though that skid keeps folding away by itself. They also have a really nice box. I don't normally comment on those, but it feels really high quality.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

So yes, that means that a line where every voyager was a triplechanging headmaster did not include apeface and snap dragon as voyagers. I am speechless.

So Titans Return has ended earlier than expected? Bummer, to be fair, it was never officially confirmed it would have 6 waves worth of figures for each Size Class like Combiner Wars, was it?
