Kurona wrote:Just because the size isn't right for the character doesn't mean they aren't good toys. Besides, they actually do have classes to slot into - the CW Leader Megatron and Seekers could do with a Soundwave; and you can use this Blaster as an MP stand-in. Heck, you can use the Soundwave as an MP stand-in if the actual MP is too expensive for you.
But again, they're pretty good toys. And they're that size not just because of the whole G1 toy reference thing, but so they can have play-ability with the Legends cassettes. It's really quite fine.

Oh I'm not complaining about the size. Personally I have no problems with it, I just know it was a complaining point for others.

True collectors don't use stand-ins.

But it's a good mold...
No, it isn't. It belongs in the same smelting pit as the Ultimate and DOTM Leader Bumblebee molds.

That's funny, I don't recall Apeface ever having any feet in his rear end.![]()
(Can't wait to see what you come up with! I'm sure it'll look fantastic, you mad scientist you.)

Bearing in mind that this is total speculation, I'd theorise that we'll see a proper Rodimus Prime in PotP - though maybe not the exact way you'd hope. My best guess would be a self-contained Voyager-sized figure, i.e. one whose trailer is part of the robot much like Titanium Rodimus or TR's very own Voyager Optimus. Personally I'd prefer it that way since it would allow for more mass to go to the robot without inflating the price for more-or-less a near-functionless hunk of plastic, so my bias might be affecting my judgement; but I think that's probably how it would go if/when we see a proper-sized Rodimus Prime.
(Though on the other hand, DOTM Jetwing Prime did basically the same thing with a significant increase in price caused by a near-non-transforming accessory, and it sold fairly well from what I can tell, so who knows.)
Ultra Mad wrote:I think a Voyager size Rodimus with trailer (integrated to the figure or not) should work for scaling with the other 86 cast.
