Walgreens is like non existent here in Canada (at least for Alberta) and I'm sure it's one of those USA exclusive stores so most people will not be getting a Brainstorm.
Exclusivity is a slagging plague and I wish it was not a thing.

Its a Walgreens exclusive in the states, could be picked up by another company in canada. TRU picked up all the slack from the target exclusive as soon as target left. And Walmart picked up the a Kmart exclusive. So it could very well be that any of those picks up this brainstorm figure in Canada. Dont lose hope guys.

Also, if worse comes to worst, the online stores will surely get their hands on some too. I know that will probably cost more that brick-and-mortar, but surely that's better than yesterday when the apparent choices were 1/4 of a convention box set or not at all.

Dunno, but if you need yours to have a mouthplate, hasbro's your only option, and unless you're willing to pay secondary market prices for sdcc brainstorm, I'd say the walgreens one is really your only option, irregardless

Oh, I am willing to pay secondary market prices for SDCC Brainstorm, though I think there is a good shot at the set being available on HTS after the convention. The SDCC version looks very IDW faithful in its deco, so I wonder if the Walgreens release will be more G1 toy or screen accurate, which would be preferable to me.

As ridiculous as the regular big 3 retail stores are in the US when it comes to supplying figures (Sky Lynx) the toy sections in Pharmacy's have never been a walk in the park.

I don't expect this hunt being a grand ol experience.

Indeed, I foresee this being a mind-numbing ball-ache to get him, shame it had to be him - as he looks rather nice - and not hasbro's p.o.s. blurr, it's not like whole bunches of people are going to be seeking him out...
