You have a robot that turns into a shuttle and a train and they release it as ... Sentinel Prime first.

You have a robot that turns into a plane and a truck with a fuel tanker trailer and they release it as ... Optimus Prime first.

So now you have a jet and a tank that combine together to make a robot who also has a base mode and they release it as... sky shadow.

So even if we had no added confirmation Overlord was coming, this alone would make me 100% sure that Overlord was coming.

You dont know what you are missing Cobo, those G1 shows are really good. High quality, mature and rarely contain animation errors.

If Hastak are smart they will either make another Titanmaster that is an appropriate homage to which ever one is missing from Mega & Giga or just give you and extra one out of generosity.

If they don't I can't see Takara releasing that without both.

To be honest I'd not mind at all if the skip Overlord entirely in the West and just release Thunderwing instead and then Takara can really go to town on Overlord.

Shame Hasbro UK is as much use as a Chocolate Teapot otherwise they'd be making damn sure Overlord gets a UK release as the original also did.

I like the mould though and they were just sneeky with it enough to make it work as multiple things with minor changes - heck it could even work as Flywheels as well. (but then so could Voyager Megatron/Blitzwing too).

Now you know what we need - a new Blaster. and a re-paint/prepaint as Battletrap.

(I still think those two got their names muddled up in production though the names make more sense on the opposite toy).

Shame Takara don't make Cloud toys anymore it would have been nice to have a Cloud Flywheels from the older Generations Doubledealer mould.
I guess if Botcon wasn't dead they'd have got around to it perhaps.

But it also makes me wonder what an Animated Voyager Flywheels would look like too.

But If you do want a mini-bot collection to go with Brawn, I would just start collecting now. They're bound to loop back eventually. Also, some of the older ones are still available online.

I love watching the Japanese G1 cartoons minus the subtitles as well. Over the past couple of decades, a lot of people ask me how I can watch them without subtitles or dubs, and my response is simple: every episode of the Transformers is basically the same. Autobots and Decepticons fight. Autobots usually win by the end of the episode. That's it. Once you pick up on their Japanese names (Convoy, Fortress, Destron, Seibertron, Cybertron, etc), you get the general gist of what's going on.

The Japanese G1 cartoons IMO are ok. I decided to start watching them recently to figure out who all these new toys are of. The shows are noticeably more mature, and I appreciate the fact there is additional G1 content for me to watch. It's definitely a good way to kill time on my commute to and from work. But the shows are painfully repetitive. I know, I'm asking for a lot here.

Its probably because of a filter at work (dont tell them I am here, shh). And ok, thanks, I see how Hasbro changed the name of that mode. I do hope this new figure lets you pull off the actual tank mode though. And sureshot, do you have the G1 version? becasue if so, I highly recomend you try that actualy tank mode since by having all 4 limbs paralel, the back wheel touhes the floor adn you have a really awesome tank that rolls super well. If that was his actual third mode, I wold easily have claimed perceptor to be one of the best tripel changers of all time.

No problem. I do actually have the G1 version but I'm probably going to try and sell him, he really has no purpose for me since I have the RTS figure and this TR one will probably be bought as well. But for now he is still mine so I'll try out that tank mode when I have a chance.
