I agree with "yes, get him". My only complaint is the flip up mask, and I like the Arwing mode!! I know he's been in that mode more than tank mode, maybe even more than robot mode. He's in it right now waiting to fly around the house!!Insurgent wrote:I'd say yes he is. The flip up face mask is really the only stupid part of the toy (the titan master is unpainted grey, but it doesn't bother me), but he has decent articulation, is nice and beefy and looks good in robot and jet mode (except for the mentioned face mask). Take some good looks at that mask. If it doesn't bother you, go for it. Of course, there are helmets that have been made to replace it if it really bothers you.Rodimus Prime wrote:I got Rodimus Prime by himself from eBay. I like it, and placed him on the Hot Rod body, while putting the Hot Rod head in the cab. Also, going back, I am just now considering buying Galvatron. Is that figure worth it? I like the colors, and he looks like he could be a decent G1 homage.
His jet mode is eh. It's fine as some starfighter type craft, but mine will rarely ever go in that mode.
Kurona wrote:Well, they are the more obscure characters of the bunch and the only new molds, and one could easily argue the molds don't fit the characters. To most collectors those two are likely the easiest to ignore.

I skipped skullmasher because I really didn't like the head at all. But Krok is definitely on my want list, I love his head sculpt and the bright colors. (yup, I know, I have strange tastes).

I thought I hit the jackpot today when I came across a case of wave 4 deluxes on the rack at Meijer. I had a coupon for $5 off $20 of toys and grabbing Perceptor and Kup was a no-brainer for me, especially Perceptor because I had him back when I was a kid and I love the G1 toy head on the Titan Master.
Then I opened them up and my world came crashing down around me. Here is why:
The only Titan Master that fits in Perceptor's head slot is Convex. I don't care how good this representation is, I'm buying this version in a large part for the "Cross On!" gimmick and I can't do a "Cross On!" with Perceptor's body. Convex fits fine in other slots, but none of my Titan Masters fit in Perceptor's slot.
So my question for anyone else who has Perceptor is do I have a defect or is this a problem with the mold?
As for Kup, his hips are ridiculously loose. As I used a coupon on the these figures I intend to return both due to both of these problems.
My Question for anyone else who has Kup is do you think I have bad luck or is this a problem? And no, I don't just fix toys with floor polish. If it's a little loose I can deal, like with Galvatron, but this is Baltmatrix bad luck wobbly so this figure has to go back. But if this is not a widespread problem should I look to exchange or wait for another store to get the figure and hope for the best?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
Moonshot wrote:Oh I also took off the nosecone/cockpit of mine and snipped off the part that he always has stand up behind his head. There happens to be a hole u can use to put it on his back. Looks awesome.
Kurona wrote:I think it's likely to do with how Perceptor's headmaster gimmick is apparently the most difficult to do. Can't remember if it's the slot's fault or the headmaster's head shape fault tho.
D-Maximus_Prime wrote:My Kup's hips are sort of loose, but they are not enough that he flops around. Just a smidge loose, nothing more than that.
As for Perceptor, I think that is sort of based on how much stress you are willing to put on the head swap, and some luck. My Perceptor is pretty good, but Rodimus Prime and Diac are troublesome with going on any body, even Prime's own body.
RodimusConvoy13 wrote:My Kup also had some loose hips. I fixed them with some napkins on the ball joints. I don't know if it's a widespread issue.
My Perceptor can have different heads other than Convex.
Bradimus wrote:Do those heads just slide in like the average Titan Master or are you using a bit of force? I'm becoming hopeful that a simple exchange will solve my problems.
Bounti76 wrote:While that mold would make a good Crosshairs, that ain't Crosshairs.....there's FAR too much red....G1 Crosshairs had way more blue than red. That screams Orion Pax to me....not to mention that the paint apps on the figure and the guns seem more reminiscent of something Takara would do rather than Hasbro.
