I wasn't intentionally trying to be "nerdy" I was just really asking as a wonder if a kid might (especially the older ones) what the play pattern actually is.

Especially when the little figure packs throw a spanner in the works a bit.

I will take the earlier posters point though and treat the "Little guys" as Minicons - and that would therefore (somewhat bizarrely) raise the question if the mini-vehicles are Transformers in their own right or just non-sentient accessory vehicles for the heads.

The real mind bending part is lets say we say the head is (supposed) to be Ape Face then what is the mini-vehicle - is that Ape face too or instead.

I'm just confusing myself here I think.

I think you're trying to over think something which is confusing you. Going off what I believe is Hasbro's treatment for the titan masters:

The actual deluxe/voyager/leader bodies are the actual characters, and they link up with the little guy, who is a seperate character. Like in Rebirth/Marvel comics. But instead of being nebulons, they are tiny cybertronians. And each little guy also unlocks a power up for the larger guy. Like a speed boost, or cloaking.


The little vehicles that come in the actual titan master class size figures. I believe they are simply non sentient vehicles the little guy can pilot. What makes it different over the larger bodies is there is no spark in the little vehicles, so the titan masters are in full control of those. If they were actual characters, they would probably all have their own names on the box.

The whole "this main character you've been following was a god all along" thing is one of my least favourite things in fiction... but I don't wanna derail this, so that's a story for another time.
Point is, Alpha Trion looks badass, and he'll make a badass Vector Prime too.

So Brainstorm IS supposed to be in Walgreens stores right now. At first, I thought it was just the crappy store around the corner from me that didn't have any. Then I checked a second in a better area and still nothing. I guess I gotta find more and keep checking.

The nearest Walgreens near me has a pretty good toy isle, but the only Transformers there I saw were AoE One Steps.

The Walgreen's closest to me went out of business last week. 0_0

I still don't get why they retconned certain characters to be titan partners like Grimlock and Brawn. I would rather they be new characters than be the only version of, say, Squeezeplay we get in a while.

Yes, I would be totally up for a Headmaster Arcee...IF it was done well. It would have to be substantially different from other Headmasters so she retained her classic "Princess Leia Buns" head design. Square head with Arcee face = no sell. It'd almost certainly be Daniel (which is annoying as I personally prefer the "Headmasters are the actual robots, the bodies are lifeless without a head" take on Headmasters). As for the exo-suit, you probably couldn't pull it off without making the head mode look like arse. A titan master vehicle styled after the exo-suit would be neat though.

And yes I am aware she was going to be redecoed from Chromedome, but really I don't think it would work.

I think the best hope for a Headmasters Arcee is Takara. They'll make a heavy remold out of Blurr and an all new Headmaster design that includes the buns. Plus the Titan Master vehicle will look like the exo-suit vehicle mode.

On the topic of Laser Prime and Megs, just because it's a triple changer, doesn't mean you have to use all the modes. Ask me how many times I've transformed Galvatron into the jet mode.

Thing is though, they don't really have any reason to do that. Headmaster Arcee wasn't part of their version of the cartoon, and even if they did get Rebirth (I know they got it years later, but c'mon), it's not exactly that significant.

I spotted TR Galvatron, Sentinel Prime and Hardhead at my TRU today and I noticed that the purple piece on Galvatron's face was loose from Nebulon. Can it be attached or it is just that way?

Its a seperate piece that flips out of the chest. Its seperate to nebulon, connected to galvatron.

I got a great Haul yesterday when Galvatron, Walgreenstorm and RTS Lugnut arrived all at the same time.

Immediately carried out the side-cannon arm mod on galvatron, with great results.

Brainstorm is a thing of beauty. All the detail is crisp and sharp, the paint and tampos are neat, and flawless. He feels engineered to perfection. Everything clicks together tight and flush. Just an all around great figure.

The Transformers Titans Return line is out in Canada but not fully and it's trickling out at a snail's pace. It seems to be nation wide though with each class coming out the same week from coast to coast at Toysrus. First the Leaders came out, followed swiftly by the Titanmasters (both wave 1 and 2), then followed by the Legends, sparsely. Yesterday the Voyagers, Galvatron and Sentinel Prime, finally arrived, and you can find a picture below which clearly highlights which toy is more popular. Fortress Maximus had already arrived a few weeks before as well but some stores had enforced a street date. He should be readily available now to anyone who wants him either in stores or online.

The Deluxes are still not found but it could be any day now. The release given on the website was the 1st of August but they are not found online anymore.

Awe man look at all the stuff. All the Combiner sets, the insecticons, the junkions, leader starscream, ULTRA MAGNUS!? I have 2 toysrus stores in my city and we don't have any of that stuff.

Just stunticons, leader class AOE grimlock, Armada Megatron and the more of those neon blue RID exclusives. I'd rather have any of those at the moment.

Woah, you guys still have Insecticons? I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised at the idea of Platinum sets shelfwarming, but...

Ummm when if ever is this stuff gonna show up at any stores in Winnipeg? We have 3 Toys R Us' I have been checking on and off for weeks and nothing but RID crap and the insecticons (which I already own.) Oh and there's even AOE garbage still on the shelves at some of them! Sorry for the rant but this is getting really frustrating. Haven't even seen Fort Max yet!

Saint John NB TRU has stuff from 3 years ago still on the shelves and we don't get half of the new stuff

Sounds like your stores are similar to mine. I would love to see a display with that kind of Transformers stuff at my TRU. The last time I saw that much TF stuff at a TRU was when Dark of the Moon came out and most TRUs had a giant display when you walked in. Currently it's all multiples of the same RiD figures and leftover AoE stuff

This is really off-topic and for that I'm sorry but I must be honest... while G1 and IDW are my favourite continuities, it feels a little... bad to be getting only them from a line called Generations.
Like, 2013 Generations was great. We got G1, IDW, G2, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Armada, RiD, WFC/FOC... it was crazy.
And since then we've only gotten, like, what? CW Armada Megatron who isn't in scale with Universe Hot Shot or Armada Starscream, didn't have his own mold made for him and was literally just made because "Well we've gotta get another use out of this mold somehow. Hey, wasn't there another Megatron that turned into a tank? Energon or something?"
I'm really holding out hope for those Vector Prime and Tidal Wave rumours... but it'd be nicer still to see non-G1 characters get their own molds. Maybe once Prime Wars is over we can get more of those quality Beast Wars remakes or something.
