Masterpiece, obviously, and the figure from Animated.

I'll soon have the Takara version of TR Hot Rod, and he might jump up there as well.

You never handled the Hasbro version? Apparently, thats the better mold (though might not be better finished product)

I have the Hasbro TR, but I don't like the colors. It's also a floppy mess.

At first I was worried because I didn't care for the back pack or the visible Hot Rod arms on the sides, but once I put him on the shelf, those details are not noticeable, unless he is posed with the sides exposed.

Hot Rod's visible hands aren't nearly as bad as Cerebros' visible hands on the top/back of Titan Fort Max's head. They really couldn't make the hands fold away on a $150 figure?

Anyway, I got PotP Swoop. He's a good figure like everyone says, but I do have a few issues with the mold. First I don't like the sword storage under his "beak" and there's no other place to stick it. I wish they would have sculpted missiles on his wings, even if just little ones, but I suppose they would have been in the way of his different forms. Last issue, and maybe this is unique to mine, but the beak is a little loose wanting to leave a small gap between it and Swoop's face and it's made worse with the sword there. It is a good figure, but could use just a little bit of work.

My haul today from Anime Export isn't quite what I expected. I had ordered MP-10B Black Convoy and received that, so no issues there.

I had also ordered MP-12+ Sideswipe. I'm not an MP completionist (or any type of completionist), and just wanted a lambo for my collection. I chose Sideswipe over Sunstreaker primarily due to cost. To my surprise, Anime Export shipped me Sunstreaker. So that's the story of my haul.

@ Emerje - My Swoop has the same loose beak problem. Mildly annoying and disappointing, but I'm kinda just whatevs about it.

Great haul! Whatever you do...don't deep-fry your Gundam in tempura batter. I saw someone do that on Facebook snd it reminded me of pet abuse. Other than that, have tons of fun!


I eould add my own haul here, as yesterday I bought myself a POtP Dinobot Slash! However, I had to return her because I realized my funds were ridiculously tight this paycheck. Can't wait till my tax return! Retribution will happen!

Ok, rememeber my conundrum in the Power of the Primes thread? That I couldn't decide between Swoop, Slug and Dreadwind? Went to Walmart today, it had all 3 of them, what do I do? I get this guy:

And my luck struck again with a slight paint smear on one of the wings. No big deal.

So with so many people talking about finding dirt cheap TR Voyagers at Walmart on clearance I thought I would take a chance on scanning the beat up Megatron still sitting on the full priced shelf.

$10. Sold!

Also picked up PotP Slag. He isn't terrible, but I do wish he had a bit more of a neck and not such a round body, but I don't hate him.

I decided to pick up PotP Grimlock and Slag. I was also going to get Swoop and Slash as well, but the blue on Swoop just didn't appeal to me. He should have been red. And Slash is just an extra, I might pick her up anyway, and find a way to combine her to Volcanicus. In the meantime, she's good for carrying Grimlock's Enigma of Combination around in her backpack.

I was able to transform my new leaders and I have no gripes. Love the gimmick. Took some time to get Rodimus' Winnebago mode to peg together. Head sculpt is nice on Pax. Some of my favorite keaders to date.

Jinbu arrived today.

Opened it up, saw an Arms Micron sprue, heart sank as I realized that there was somehow a defective first-run Jinbu still lurking around and I got hit with it.

Why did I do this to myself? Even in a best-case scenario, this is gonna SUCK...

But isnt is just bad assembly? Cant you reassemble it correctly?
