Good news on Overloard though, seems the talk about his Chest Panels being glued in is false, They are only clipped in and removal while somewhat tricky, is very possible, but disassembly is needed.

So, today I got super mode Starscream from Takara's legends line, all 3 legends class from PotP wave 2, and original G1 Skylinx, in box (slightly beaten up) with the original toys r us tag on it. For my daughter she got legion class Starscream, Springload and warrior Windblade from RID.

That's pretty sweet! Did that powermaster front come with him, already inside, but hidden or what?

The Powermaster Fronts are kinda built in. They were factory placed in the Chest were the Titan Masters/Prime Masters would go, but they were put in a way that they could not be removed by conventional means. You have to take the toy apart to get them out.

Ah now I see. I thought you were talking about the chest panels that flap open, but you meant the "fake" powermasters. I always though his chest didn't open on the T/T version.

Got these two for a buck each at a yard sale

I plan to learn more about them later but thanks to our wonderful gallery I know that the bronto is Sludge and the little fella is Spectro. Spectro is 1/3 of reflector - which I did not know because the other two were not present at the time. Still worth the buck!

Very well done! Reflector was indeed a mail-away, thing is, he/they appear in the first episode of the cartoon, but the toy was offered after the 1986 movie. And if I were you, Wrecker, I'd have that Reflector piece authenticated. KO's of him were sold in stores before the actual figure was even offered.

I think Spectro (Reflector's shutter button) might be a KO of some type. He's got different stickers and lacks any brand markings. I also notice he's missing the little black shoulder clips that both the KO and the real one have. I took some pics (boy is it difficult to get my camera to focus...perhaps I will try to get a better one of his face in the daylight tomorrow)

His chinplate/beard thing look more like the KO version and notice his shoulders are flat, no clip like things on top.


The back has no sticker or sticker residue so it's either been lost to time or never was included. Also lacks the TAKARA stamp on the butt.


Here I have him all folded up for camera mode just for kicks.

One thing I would like to know is is the shiny metal on his legs (and on Sludge) prone to GPS? Do I need to be careful with them or is it just some kind of coating? It looks a little like the vac metal on wwe figure belts now that I look at it.

GPS refers to fragile gold-colored plastic, like that on G1 Roadblock and G2 Slingshot, not metal-plated plastic. So you should be safe.

Continuing the Swordbots with Sensuimaru and Optimus Exprime. Both fall into the category of "sheer ridiculousness gives it a charm all its own."

Got TLK Cogman in from AmiAmi. He's a much more complex deluxe than I had expected him to be and his joints are nice and stiff. Maybe a little too stiff as there are a few parts that feel like they're going to break when you move them (that chest door...). Still, a surprisingly nice figure and the paint wash looks great.

Two packages from Amazon contained Power of the Primes Starscream, Jazz and Dreadwind. I really want to like Starscream, and I don't mind his bot mode, but his other modes are pretty bad, especially the jet mode which has a lot of awkward tabs and for some reason you can't hide his fists by design even though you have to hide them for his combiner mode. He just isn't a very fun figure to play with.

Dreadwind isn't bad, he definitely looks great, but his legs are a bit floppy just like his CW mold mates. Really no other complaints here.

Jazz is another disappointment like Starscream. His joints are loose and he feels like just a step above a Cyber Series car. His shoulders are frighteningly thin so maybe the looseness is a good thing? I wonder if I would have like him more if I hadn't opened the really nice Cogman just before?

So now I just need Scrapnel (might grab a cheap one off Amazon), Grimlock, and both leaders to finish out wave 1.

So my local collectibles store bought a collection of 250+ TFs today, so I ran down and made a bit of dent. All of these guys have been bucket list figure for forever. All this for about $40! (And a Studio Series Ratchet that was a birthday gift.)



Haul doesn't include boxed bots in the back, of course.

Finally decided to get TLK Infernocus.

With the sale plus a TrU Club coupon, it was only 35$CAN. However, it was my friend who paid it so that I'll trade him two sealed deluxes that he'll open: CW Smokescreen ans HFTD Sidearm Sideswipe... Plus a TLK legion Optimus because why not.

Why so generous a trade? Because he helped me for my moving a lot. I give reward where reward is due.

I Will open it later. I expect Pledge Will be used a lot.
