So I spent the day on the road yesterday, visiting old friends and surfing the slightly more distant stores. While on said road, the TR Grotesque came up in an email, so I pulled off to the side of a 4 lane highway and ordered him. He shipped this morning!

And while on the road, picked up these guys:

TRU price matched the Cybertron toy to the $109.19 online. Opened him up (first experience with the mold) and I absolutely love him. the colors are really cool, and I love the orange paint on the chest.

Haven't opened Blitzwing. Got him stop before the TRU (my last stop) and picked him up because I thought I wanted him and it was looking like an empty toy day. Still not sure if I'll keep him.

The comics were half off at a comic store I used to visit all the time at school. I'm so happy with them

I never saw that TLK Cybertron Primus in store over here.
Not that I need him 'cause I have the Cybertron original and the 2010 version. And yeas, it IS an great figure.

Yikes! You may have to play the long game there. With Nitro currently out, Thunderwing's demand is going to be high, but in 5-6 months it may be another story.

I'd still recommend Nitro, however. Good toy on its own, and the TM compatibility is a great plus. Megatron's head looks pretty good on Nitro and vice versa. The only downside on Nitro is that his head doesn't fit in some of the other TR cockpits.

Hooboy.... big night, and a nice way to start the long weekend! Say hello to my new best friend, vintage Diaclone Red Sunstreaker

He's in phenomenal condition too. Just a couple small chips, small blemish on the windshield, and the stickers. From initial pics I thought he might have a defect too in thecanopy, but he was just mistransformed! I'm over the moon 8-}

Recently received TR Slugslinger and Kup. Slugslinger is awesome. I only wish the weapons stored in the alt mode a little more elegantly. I previously passed on Misfire at TRU so will have to hunt it down now.

Still haven't opened Kup but I'm sure I'll love it. I have Orion Pax and that's the main reason I jumped on Kup. Can't complain at $15 all in.

Got a big haul coming from BBTS next week....

Returned the TLK Nitro who was missing a missile cluster for another one at TrU. I almost panicked because the "island of TF" was gone and was fused with the regular TF section. Moreover the new voyagers were put on the very top of the shelf, in the "storage" section. I had to take a random long toy to make that pile tumbling down.... There was only ONE Nitro left!

It's open and perfect. at last! My thoughts on the figure itself in the TLK section.

Been a while since I got any new Transformers. Love how out-of-nowhere this guy came from and how quick the whole deal went down.

Can't wait to crack him open. This packaging is amazing. Just the concept and presentation, but the actual painting in the center is super DOPE!

Congrats Saj! Especially if you bought the two previous sets and now the clones are complete.

BTW, Scalpers are already at it, trying to sell them for 60$+ on Kijiji. :lol:
