I couldn't resist, I went back and got the other 4 Combaticons. Surprisingly (or not?) they were still there. The buy 2 get 1 helped.

PCC Darkstream and Windburn arrived!

The only two missing now are the two -hammers. But I didn't like Steamhammer first time round, might not bother.

Popped in B & M Home Store yesterday, such a treat! Really was!! :D

They had loads of Dark of the Moon bits and bobs and a fair few Roadbots too which I have listed in the United Kingdom Toy Sightings thread.

I picked up DOTM Voyager Skyhammer (my second one, keeping one MISB!), a DOTM Cannon Force Ironhide (the one with a G1 red style deco) and a DOTM Human Alliance Tailpipe & Pinpointer!

All very nice too, and cheap as B & M had a 'friends & family' 10% discount to top it off!

Sweet as!!!!

I got a FE Vehicon yesterday, and I'm not too sure how I feel about it. I think the PRID one is superior. FE's nice, but I guess FE hype made me think it would be mind blowing.

I think most people will agree that PRiD Vehicon is the best deluxe of the entire line. Never mind the best Vehicon toy.

Just bought FOC Jazz. In hand, it isn't quite as bad as some say it is. The promo pics seriously exaggerated the ape-like proportions. While his head does seem to float over his empty torso, a bit of adjusting will lessen the effect, bringing his "collar" closer to his head.

Was planning to get the "pimped out" Takara version, but decided the missing paint apps on this one is a perfect opportunity to try my hand at customizing. Plenty of panel lines and a removable front grill "engine" just waiting to be painted.

Popped into Northampton town centre yesterday afternoon. Bit chilly strolling about but found a few bits including this...

Transformers Dark of the Moon Mechtech Roadbuster

He was a 'bargain' from Home Bargains for only £5.99! Cant argue for that sort of money! ;)

I got GDO Megatron and Brawl last night. I really like the ROTF Bludgeon mold, and I like this version of Megatron, but, as so many people have already said, this mold is not Megatron. I appreciate it in that Universe-love kind of way, but if the intention was either to reference G2 or Armada Megatron as they were tanks, the similarities stop with this one being a tank. It's not a very Megatron figure, but still, I'm good with it.

Brawl, meh. I guess I don't see what's so great about this mold. It's crazy posable, but the transformation is lamely awkward to me, and it's not that impressive looking a robot. Sure there are worse figures, and I don't hate him, but he's kind of just....alright.

I love the mold too, so much that a paid $80 shipped for Botcon Gigatron and $30 for the Headrobots upgrade.

My Christmas Haul:
1) Maketoys Green Giant Devastator
2) Toy World Hegemon AKA Megatron
3) TFC's Photron AKA Reflectibots
4)Takara Music Label Soundwave (BLUE)
5) Fansproject Backfiery AKA Kickback
6) Perfect Effect Frenzy & Rumble-
6) Perfect Effect Laser Beak & Buzzer
7) KO 32GB USB Stick Ravage
8) Dr. Wu Green Giant LED Replacement Head

This is my first real Decepticon Haul- cuz I don't usually buy Decepticons.

BUT, I made a serious exception this time: I think these releases are so impressive that I decided to put my G1 childhood hopes and dreams to rest by snagging them- because think of all the times where you or somebody else questioned: What would the perfect ----- toy look like? Will we ever get it?

Um, I'd say we're pretty much there- these releases are NICE. ^_^

Sure is, though the Pachycephalosaurus drone took some elbow grease to attach.

While I'm here, I have another PCC 5-pack on hold atm, so I'm now 2 5-packs and 2 2-packs short of completing the PCC line. Wow, feels like an accomplishment. Don't get me started on United EX though.

My box from BBTS arrived today! I got FE Terrorcon Cliffjumper, FE Prime vs. Megatron, FE Voyager Optimus, FE Voager Bulkhead and FOC G2 Bruticus (who puts the "GAR" in "garish")!

Sadly, my Voyager Optimus is missing some paint aps, and it's both very noticible and clearly a factory error, so I'll have to see about getting it replaced.

EDIT: And my Bruticus is missing one of the purple shoulder triangle thingies. ****.

Wow, I guess it pays to pay a extra couple bucks to get collector grade items.

You haven't been paying attention to the FE reissue threads have ya?

Optimus is missing the paint app in altmode in the same place the translucent one didn't have one. Somebody screwed up, but I sincerely doubt it's getting fixed. Plus side is it only shows in altmode. Bulkhead has stressmarks on his upper bicep swivels. No reports of breaking yet, but take note of it. Both issues have shown on every purchase I've heard of.

...Crud.

My girlfriend bought me the last FOC Combaticon I needed last night, Vortex. Now I'm scouring the net looking for pictures of ways to fanmode the arms to make Bruticus look more presentable.
Also, my Dark Energon Starscream came in from BBTS, and I'm pondering placing an order for a Dark Energon Knock Out.
