Mine has a minor mold defect, which means it can't click in (the tab is molded backwards, so there's no contrast with the socket rim).

MakeToys, no doubt. It may be partsforming, but who cares, look at that thing!
As for the defect: the combiner plugs are on a swivel panel, which tab into the tank/chest side. It clicks into place thanks to two tabs slotting into a socket. They both have wedges that allow for the clicking and blocking them from unsticking without pressure. The one on the right of my figure has one of the two wedges pointing inwards, which means it doesn't click into place, or plug in at all, for that matter.
It makes posing better, and it doesn't swivel out easily, but it's a defect.
