That IS a surprisingly bad head sculpt on that Megatron... Either the helmet/head is much too small for the face, or vice versa.
Either way, that's really really poor considering how on point Hasbro's been with head sculpts for a while.

Also, saw ER Starscream and Snapdragon at my local Target early this afternoon.
As much as I wanted to be open to Snapdragon, I wasn't at all impressed.

Right now here's what I'm looking for:

ER
Conehead 2 pack (already preordered)
Thrust

SS '86 Movie (?)
Galvatron
Cyclonus

Netflix Soundwave (if I ever get the opportunity)

Then depending on what we get from the SS '86 Line, the following are maybe's:

ER
Prowl and Ironhide (almost preordered this today)
Smokescreen
Allicon
Netflix Bumblebee
ER Grapple

ER Cliffjumper

Glarryg

For me that is close. I see an Irish gal who normally wears knee length shorts, but is now wearing a swimsuit. Tan calves and pasty-white thighs.
It's how her thighs looked in the cartoon:
No it isn't. As those pictures clearly show, she was pink in the cartoon :P
You did read what I wrote, right? Her thighs were white.

Yes, Sabrblade, I read what you wrote. I'd argue that her thighs are more of a very pale pink than white. Besides that, her thighs certainly weren't in contrast with tan calves (which is part of how TF-fan kev777 described them as looking) in the cartoon; her calves in the cartoon are the same color as the thighs, at least above the "boot" area.

Tan calves or in fact tan anything didn't figure into Elita's cartoon colors at all.

I don't really care because I probably wouldn't have bought Elita either way.
But if those photos are really the colors we'll see in the finished figure, that's not good.
That's not good at all.

I'm not even saying the show colors are awesome... But imo they're substantially better than that photo...
Deeper (slightly darker) pinks could've worked. But that tan is really bad... Maybe because it's too close to an actual human skin color.
How in the world is this going to sell??
*I don't really needs answers/responses, just thinking out loud based on my opinion that this is a horrible figure.

So finally spent some time playing with Scropnok and dragged out the other titans (return). And.... as much as I prefer beast mode and robot mode.... it actually made me appreciate Tyripticon’s “Shuttle” and bade mode more (need to find the sticker sheet and keep tackling those bastards). Also made me wish I’d gotten TR leader Soundwave and the (takara?) Rumble/Frenzy Retools is Rewind....

Starting to feel Omega is the best of the Titan/Cityformers.... especially given his extra connection points for TR and the A.I.R.L.O.C.K system. Sad that (unless I’m missing them) Scorponok only has connectors on the ends of his ramps.... and no backwards compatibility....

Really hoping we get a commander class decepticon that has a base/attachment mode... *crosses fingers* maybe Tidalwave

This might technically be a Siege post... but just my last follow up on my previous post about Scorpinok. He really could have tried to integrate better. Maybe with the Quinteson prison, and maybe they’ll surprise us with a few more.

But Omega just really plays well with both Ironworks, and the older TR stuff.

As a bonus, Apeface playing with himself.

1. The Rumble retool was Hasbro as well. Red and black was sold in Titans Return as Rumble. There was no blue version from either company until the Bumblebee toyline, which sold a 3-pack of Spy Tablets (Frenzy, Buzzsaw, and Howlback) to go with its special edition of TR Soundwave. You can probably find that Soundwave for cheaper. Maybe even at Ross or the like - he was a shelfwarmer from what I saw.

2. It would be good if somebody released a small bridge piece that could adapt between A.I.R.L.O.C.K. and the TR base connectors. Did they ever explain why the crap they changed it?

3. A Commander-class re-do of Overlord would be good for that want. He'd size better with Legends God Ginrai, and be able to have a much more impressive base mode, more along the lines of what the original toy had:

Side note: You should totally stick the smaller Zarak head on TR Galvatron and take a pic.

Would have to dig Galvatron out of storage... but I'll see what I can do. I dig that OG Overlord. But the Skyshadow/Overlord mold was my favorite leader from Titan's Return (not that there was many of them).

**EDIT/UPDATE***

You bring up a good point of why they swapped connectors... wish i knew. I'd guess the new ones are a bit more friendly at different sizes (like the shield/ramp masters). But some kind of adapter would be cool.

I knew there was a reason I wanted that three pack... just couldn't remember why... I think it's because there was only *one* thing I wanted out of it lol.

I don't recall an official explanation but the most likely reason is because the TR connectors suck big time.

The AIRLOCK system is better than TR, but it's nice that Omega Supreme bridges the gulf. To have them on Scorponok would have been nice also, but not necessary. I finally have all the parts I need for the TR City, now just a couple missing pieces for Earthrise. I'm really hoping deluxe wave 2 comes out soon, it would be nice to add Airwave in the pics, if not, oh well. It will most likely be mid August before my Doubledealer arrives from Amazon.

Missing Parts to complete TR/AIRLOCK City:

Doubledealer (Shipping form Amazon)
Slitherfang (pre-ordered on BBTS, but hoping to find at Target before BBTS gets theirs in stock)
Airwave (pre-ordered through Target)
Sheeldron (Part of Netflix Wave 2, will obtain from Walmart whenever released)
Doublecrosser (ER wave 3, will obtain whenever released)
Hothouse (presumably Selects, will obtain once released)
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

I think I'm going to go ahead and get Cliffjumper while he's part of that Target sale, and wait for a while to open him to see what they get in the next couple months. If nothing else, deciding I don't want him isn't any big deal; There's a Target maybe a quarter mile from my place so I'd just return him.

And the Prowl & Ironhide 2 pack is still available for preorder from Amazon. I JUST looked at it again... In some ways, I do think the ER Datsun design is better than the CHUG version, and the Ironhide design is an awesome improvement.
I don't care at all about the detachable van roof... The bot mode is on point.
You won't get charged for it until November (if you have Prime)...
I don't know how much longer I'm going to wait on this, especially since it's an exclusive.
Consider this-- with Siege being released, there will be people looking from TF more in the next couple weeks, including on Amazon. It could be gone sooner than later.

In fact, I may just do it... Assuming there's no way I'm getting everything from the SS '86 line, not to mention, even that will be spread-out a little bit. And it's not so much that $40 breaks the bank, but I'm trying to stick to my conservative collecting habits and not get sucked-in to too much.
Having said that, since my b-day is in November I may just call that 2 pack an early present to myself!
If you're really wanting it, I wouldn't wait too long!

I won't be surprised if Netflix Soundwave and Bee are tough to get... Hope not!

Not to harp on whether you want a Cliffjumper in your collection or not - he's better even than he looks. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome a guy he is. Small? Yes. But he should be. He's in robot scale. I honestly think that because he's small with that level of engineering, he's worth the 20 smackers. I like him more than Wheeljack (before I got an upgrade kit)!

Just pulled the trigger on the Prowl & Ironhide 2 pack... I don't think I'll regret that decision. Unless they somehow show up looking way different than those photos, I'm actually decently excited about that purchase.

Soo... In regards to the Seeker Two pack, is that it? Is it over already, shoyld I write them off? I knew they would go quick, but less than a week? My Target already took down the TF End cap and with it, the shelf tag for them. According to their app, the closest stock is 400 miles away from me now and I refuse to pay the scalpers that took them out of my hands.

If so, then ai guess I will be cancelling the Cone Heads. The whole appeal of the Seekers is having all of them and the Siege rainmakers to go with

I wouldn't write this all off yet... You should have some time to cancel the preorder on Amazon if you can't find the other figures you want.

But I will say, it seems to me that it's going to take some diligence to get the Target seekers 2-pack... I found mine on July 6th; the store by me got 2 in, and since then, nothing.
I'm in the midwest... Does any of this mean much? Maybe not. Who knows how many sets were produced and how limited this really is.
But my store did the same thing with the end cap display suddenly disappearing, and it's not like the ER line has been over or has released its final wave...
So I had the thought today that maybe with the show being delayed and way out of sync with the toy lines, retailers have been asked to pump the brakes on putting products on shelves.
I get that some have found Skylynx and Skorponok... But distribution of ER stuff has been pretty hit or miss from what I've read and seen.

I would say keep a close eye out for the next couple weeks, if not the entire month of August.
I'm no expert with any of this, but I'll be pretty surprised if that 2 pack ends up being THAT limited; when I found mine, roughly 9 other stores (in both MO and KS) had 2 each. If the greater Kansas City area only got in 20... That just seems really surprising to me.
Meaning, I would think and hope that these stores would all get at least 2 more each. As well as every other Target store.

Good luck, and I definitely wouldn't cancel the conehead 2 pack yet. It's too early to make that move imo.

You people need to stop freaking out, the rainmakers were out for almost seven months or more, and a lot went clearance, so, yeah you have time >:oP

Tonight I finally found Sky Lynx! I won't get to open him until later, but hopefully he won't be a disappointment like Jetfire was. I liked the reviews I've seen of him so far. They also had a whole peg full of Smashdown and Soundbarrier. I could have gotten a hammer and shield for every Siege and ER figure I have.

Thats what I keep trying to tell myself, and I am usually the guy playing that reassuring song, but the Rainmakers also kept their shelf tags for that entire time, as far as I recall. But the shelf tag is gone, and another store is alteady clearencing out the Clone two pack, hence my concern

There's literally no way the clones pack is already going clearance, I won't believe it until I see the receipt; back on track, just keep up due diligence, browse the web page for it everyday, check the availability at every store you're willing to drive to, try to get it as an in-store pick-up if available, the earlier in the morning you do it, the higher the likelihood of getting it

He's a lot of fun, a nice, big, hefty figure; Thew just put up a review of him, if you haven't watched it yet, it's a good time, I think you'll like him

Someone posted a photo of the price scanner in a store and the price was literally 50%.
So it has happened. Mistake or not. And that was over a week ago.

Also, I really doubt that overall the Rainmakers was a set that is more popular or more wanted than this 2 pack of ER seekers. I stress overall... Sure, some collectors were probably stoked about the Rainmakers.
It does seem weird to me that it's been 21-ish days since any Target in my area (45-60 min.-range) had one of these sets.

So as we've said, it's not time to give-up or worry, but people may need to be quick on the draw.
