Well...Takara are doing MP Raiden.
So are we all thinking on the same lines then that ER will be given a do over of sorts giving the current climate?
Seems Hasbro's wish for one generations line a year went completely out of the window didn't it!
ZeroWolf wrote:But you do realise that CW Devy started out as MP Devy... There's precedence for hasbro to ask the Takara designers to lower parts count where possible in order to fit it into the Titan Class price point. Then Takara would restore it to the original design.
On the other hand, the fact that Takara are doing an MP Raiden could preclude Titan Class Raiden for a fair while yet. End of the day, just wait to see what materialises from Takara.
ZeroWolf wrote:Nah the only Voyager modulator that needs to exist is Victory Leo, to go along side leader Class (or commander class) Star Saber. I just expect them in the next line. If they were going to introduce voyager class modulators, they'd have done it in the first wave (plus I feel the Micromaster vehicles would be a better fit for that role)
In the meantime, MP Star Saber is a good stand-in since he is already Commander class-sized, being more in scale with CHUG than with MP.Glarryg wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:Nah the only Voyager modulator that needs to exist is Victory Leo, to go along side leader Class (or commander class) Star Saber. Oooo, Commander Class Star Saber! Man, if that doesn't happen I'm gonna be piiiiiiissed...
(C'mon, seriously, more Victory 'bots, HasTak!)

It's because there aren't a lot of cheatsy shenanigans going on with his animation model for them to try and accommodate, so he doesn't need to be very complex. MP Grimlock has a simple transformation for the same reason.Emerje wrote:Sabrblade wrote:In the meantime, MP Star Saber is a good stand-in since he is already Commander class-sized, being more in scale with CHUG than with MP.
He's also more in line with CHUG in complexity as well. For an MP he's very simple to transform.
Oof, that's unfortunate.Emerje wrote:Slight change of topic, I've got Earthrise Astrotrain, and I like him, but he has some super loose knees. Was the Siege release like this? If he's standing upright and I tap his chest he'll just fall right over at the knees with his feet still planted. He wont stand at all with the empty backpack on. Was the Siege release like this, too? Of all the things that could be wrong with this figure I wasn't expecting bad knees to be what disappointed me.

He's also more in line with CHUG in complexity as well. For an MP he's very simple to transform. Remove the die cast and replace the Brain with a Titan Master and he's basically a CHUG Commander.

Rodimus hasn't been part of WFC yet. So I'd assume he is "Autobot Leader", alongside Galvatron for his counterpart. Will they be joined by Star Saber, Dezarus, Dai Atlas etc? Or do you see there being more of a blend of Future Transformers series characters instead ala UT, [non-stylised] Animated, Prime etc

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
