Nice!! Did they give you any hassle regarding the sell date?

I had similar experiences with Wal Mart. I can't understand the 9/1 release date.

Neither can I.. according to the Manager, they had more in the back, but the stocker shouldn't have put him on the shelf yet. It seems ludicrous that they have a lot of these taking up room, with high demand, yet still can't sell them

I initially had similar issues with the Seeker twin pack. The first Target I went to had them but was strictly following the 6/21 street date. Luckily the second Target had a couple more sets and were more lenient and let me get away with one set for me and one set for a friend of mine in my unit. It’s kinda odd that they’d get them this early and not be able to sell them for two months.

I didn't know that, he seems readily available here in VA, and no issues buying him a while ago. Do you think they upped the sell date, and if so, maybe they'll do the same with Doubledealer? I have a feeling the Quintesson Judge was in the back, and I'd love to see him early

The gray guns with Smokescreen point to a Bluestreak or Prowl for sure.

Well we do have plenty of rumours that Prowl is coming in a two pack with an Earth mode Ironhide.

Of which I eagerly await confirmation.

The Prowl/Ironhide two-pack isn't a rumor, it's a straight-up listing on multiple of the European Amazon sites, and Bluestreak as some kind of exclusive that would get a full case all to himself was also a leaked listing in a store database. These are beyond rumors at this point.

Yep, meaning he's probably an exclusive. A lot of people are guessing he'll be the Walgreens exclusive.

Huh, that makes sense. At least that means he'll be relatively easy to find (in the US anyway).

I had the same thing happen back with Siege with Voyager wave 3(?). I found Thundercracker on the shelf before the street date. Grabbed him and a Megatron to use as a scan dummy. TC scanned as unsellable, and then so did Megatron. Because they were case mates. Doubledealer must be case mates with Prime.

Also, is it just me, or is September really late for it? Sure, the virus has messed things up, but they’ve clearly already got the stock, and there’s still 2 more waves of Earthrise left to go. I would assume they’d rather have this out sooner than later.

Thank goodness for those Wreck-Gars, too, as he is what got me back into collecting. Just wanted him but found out he was a combiner so I had to build a combiner and once it starts it never stops. I don't even want ER Starscream but I might buy him to just scratch that itch. Keep telling myself those Pulse pre-orders are gonna ship soon so I gotta save...

Ratchet's distribution must have been less than previous years. I had no problem finding him by me, but he wasn't around very long. Whereas the year before, when I found Wreck Gar, he was sitting with Brainstorm and the Clones. Yep, 3 years of exclusive on the same shelf at once.

After watching a review I'm a bit tempted to get ER Smokescreen...
Although the weapon ports on the vehicle mode are horribly bad, the robot mode definitely has me interested. Especially after seeing the ER figure next to the MP version.
He also looked better "live" than what I could tell in photos.

Does anyone have him yet, and if so what are your thoughts?

Huh. I only had to go to two stores before I found Ratchet, both on the same morning. I never realized so many people had trouble finding him, hopefully that isn't a bad sign for a potential Bluestreak.

Here in the northern Midwest I did spy Ratchet at least twice in the local walgreens, he didn't stick around though. WreckGar on the other hand .. well there a few places where he's still hangin there HaHa

Hunting down the Target Earthrise Seeker 2-Pack has gotten even more ridiculous. All day long, I've been getting notifications that it's back in stock at Target.com, but when I try to click on "Ship It," it always says that it's out of stock and can't be added to my cart. It's happening with the Clone 2-Pack as well, but to a lesser degree. Before, when I got these notifications and checked, it was already sold out, but now, the option to buy it just lingers for a few hours before finally going down, giving me the option again to get a notification when it's back in stock, and then coming back up again for purchase to absolutely NO avail. What the heck, Target?

We have some Transformers Earhrise Doubledealer news. Firstly, for those who ordered it on Amazon, it's shipping out. For those hoping to find this at retail instead, well we have good news and bad news. This toy has been found at Targets across the US but we are getting several accounts online that Target has made a mistake with the time stamp and they may not let you purchase it.

Also, speaking of Target, the Seeker Two Pack has been switching from available to unavailable online but it's currently available and has been for a day.

That's happened to me with 2 different TFs within the past year. I bought the other 3 of the first-half Macadam BAF deluxes, probably all at Targets in January, but when I tried to buy Bee a month later, suddenly he hadn't reached his street date. He (and Prime, Megs and Shockwave) was on the shelf at 3 different Targets, but couldn't be bought. I finally got him at a Meijer right when Michigan went into lockdown.

Last summer, on the other hand, I first found Cyberverse Alpha Trion in a Target, but he just didn't seem to be in the system yet despite his presence on the shelf. The cashier just junk-skned him for me for $10, since she apparently thought $20 was too much for a toy that size! So in my experience, it evens out in the end...unless she got fired.

The most annoying thing I've encountered at Targets this month is that all the stores that upgraded to touch-scanners had to turn them off to prevent Covid-spread, so finding out if something's on sale requires bugging the electronics dept. Gonna' pester the hell out of them when these figures finally show up in my neighborhood, just in case the next screw-up happens to be another Animated-Shockwave/Sunstorm situation.
