I agree, the jet modes look pretty bangin, that's why I'm patiently waiting for the coneheads to start rolling out before I join the Seeker party

So...I managed to get Scorponok, what a pain to get it though. A couple of things....

Brickseek actually did work for me this time (considering its the only item with that DPCI) there was one Target of about 10 I could drive to, that was 20 miles away, that had "limited stock". Apparently this particular Target was behind on things (didn't even have a TF endcap like all the others). The floor employee confirmed they did have 2 Scorponok's on a pallet in the back but that "they could not be put out until his manager returned form vacation to reset the toy aisle"

So, like someone else here said I determined not to leave the store without one, knowing it was there. I went to customer service and explained, got a higher up manager and they did actually have that first employee go in the back, dig through the pallet and get it for me. I made sure to explicitly thank them all for going above and beyond.

Additionally, not sure this is a nationwide thing, but at least one of the Target's I went to had SS and Siege/ER Deluxes on sale for $16.99. Might be a good time to pick any up if you were holding out, sale ends Saturday 8/1. I'm hoping ER wave 2 will start appearing soon thereafter. Also slightly OT, I saw one Target had it's own peg for SS 68 Leadfooot, so it must be coming soon. But even though it is a Target exclusive, I'd imagine whole cases of them are going to not sell quite as quickly.

Hopefully ill have time to open up Scorp later today and show off my now complete Titans shelf.

Seibertron wrote:Can anyone double check the DPCI for Scorponok? Not sure if this is correct: 087-16-1984

It also doesn't pull up the listing on Brickseek or Target's website. Just want to double check. Thanks!

Confirmed, yes that is correct ;)^

Additionally SkyLynx is 087-16-4497

That $16.99 price is this week's sale price for deluxe class figures. I pre-ordered Sunstreaker and Studio Top Spin then canceled my Pulse order.

I almost forgot I have ER Airwave and Fastrack on pre-order from Target back in February when they were having a BOGO 50% off sale. I wonder if those pre-orders will start being fulfilled before stores get them in stock, about the same time, or after. I still find it odd they did all those pre-orders so far in advance.

based on how my pre-ordered sentinel and scrapper were both delayed for about two weeks but showed up at my nearest store that day, per-orders mean nothing to target

If you look underneath the ER Seekers, there is a spot where their forearms come together in alt-mode and the post on a figure stand fits. Obviously it isn't intentional so it isn't a tight fit but it works good enough to take pics or even leave on a shelf. I have Siege Starscream and the more I mess with these two the more I'm tempted to pick up ER Starscream to complete the trio in both sets.

Yeah, I'd pick up Starscream for sure... I think you'll appreciate having all 3 ER versions.
Btw, not sure how it's looking in other areas, but since I picked up my seeker 2 pk back on July 6th, none of the 10 stores in my area (4 are roughly 45 mins away over the state line into KS) have any.
Not one...
And yeah you'd think there will be more in future shipments, but now I'm really glad I made the initial effort to track them down when I did.

Not that anybodies seen yet, doubt walmart will bother with it, they can't even decide whether or not to carry half the normal selection of tfs

My Doubledealer pre-order from that sale shipped the same time people started finding him at Target stores. I had checked my pre-order when the first sightings showed up and it said he'd be released in August so they're definitely willing to bump up the release as needed. Plus I only paid $40.71 for mine (instead of trying to figure out which figures were half off they just divided the savings evenly across everything, it was a big order so everything was basically $10 off). And I didn't have to deal with people telling me they couldn't sell him.

Hopefully Snapdragon ships soon since he's showing up in places. Really curious what that invoice is going to look like since he was on sale for $20 when I ordered him so he should be $10 and some change total when he ships. :-D

Amazons saying 3rd September for my Scorponok. Thinking of getting a 3d printer so I can make myself the bits he needs to feel complete for me. Hopefully the gamble of paying £112 and waiting for him instead of paying £140 and having him weeks ago comes through.

As much as I like to have things as early as possible, a price discount will always trump the ability to get it sooner than later for me. The problem is, it is rare that a new item will be discounted right away. But as we have seen it does happen occasionally.

Transformers Coloring Contest for Entertainment Earth

Postby notsoalex » Mon Jul 27, 2020 1:17 pm

Weapon: Dual Low-Radiation 1 Megaton Proton Bombs
Entertainment Earth has a new Transformers coloring contest for a $100 eGift Card and a Transformers prize, in celebration of the War for Cybertron Trilogy premiering this Thursday! The link to the page can be found here, with the description below.

If you're a fan of Transformers like we are, you're probably binge-watching the Netflix Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy: Siege series. Color our Transformers pages while you watch, and tag us on social media for a chance to win a HUGE Transformers prize. No transformation cog required.

One randomly selected winner will receive a Transformers prize package and a $100 Entertainment Earth eGift Card! Download your favorite coloring page below, color it, and share your photo on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using #iCollectatEE and #BringHometheFun.

There are five days left to enter, and judging from the picture, the prize is made of Earthrise Skylynx, Scorponok, Masterpiece Movie Barricade, Megatron, and/or the 3rd Bumblebee. It is unknown if you can take creative liberties, but there are 5 days left and 4 pages to color, based on the Cyberverse cartoon. It is a fair bit of work for just a chance to win these toys, but, good luck.

Cool pics! You know, with him basically being grayscale.. Maybe you could repurpose him as Film Noir Optimus Prime.

This is why I haven't complained much about the lack of guns for the smaller figures. Between Titan Master vehicles, Prime Master decoy armor, and Battle Masters it's quite easy to make up for that.

Sky Lynx makes a most magnificent steed for Optimus Prime! Great pics, Cobo ;)^

I just got around to opening up Generations Selects Greasepit last night. Although he's only a retool/repaint of Ironworks, he's still just as much fun and unique enough that the shared engineering and head sculpt aren't too bothersome. I eagerly await the release of Airwave now. So, of the original Micromaster bases, that just leaves Hot House. Will he be a unique mold, or a retool somehow of Airwave? I would hope the former, as Siege had three unique Weaponizer/Modulator molds, two of which were used twice, and one of which has been used thrice now. Only two unique Modulator molds for Earthrise would feel like a let down, honestly. Here's hoping for some news on Hot House soon!

Another consideration is how Hasbro and Takara will make use of the Modulators for some other figures. Retooling and redecoing the Siege Weaponizers as the G1 Powerdashers was inspired, but I don't think the same magic will work for something like the Modulators and the Omnibots, for example. There are, of course, more G1 Micromaster playsets (and vehicles/carriers), but none of them particularly lend themselves to obvious retools of Earthrise Ironworks/Greaspit or Airwave. Anyone have any ideas?

I would bet money that Hot House will be an Airwave redeco. Airwave's thighs have the treads that the Hot House alt-mode needs, and the air traffic control tower was already repurposed for the fire station in the original G1 toy. I'm just glad we'll be getting all four, I don't care that there are only two molds between them.

I'm just glad we'll be getting all four, I don't care that there are only two molds between them.

I think you are right on with Hothouse coming from Airwave. The 2 molds for the modulators also make sense since re-using those for anything else would be a bit of a stretch, much more of a stretch than going from weaponizer to power dasher.

Wish Bee was a chibi VW... this one's too close to MP-21 to get, also. Especially with partforming. That Fasttrack guy looks cool, though.

Wrong thread for these two. They're part of the Netflix toyline instead of Earthrise proper.

I thought that was pretty much a foregone conclusion... We would be getting via Selects Hothouse out of Airwave, and Roritchi from Fasttrack....

I'm intrigued about wave 4....

Seems like Runabout and Cyclonus will be deluxes in wave 4, what about any others? Will we get any new Battlemasters, Voyagers or Leaders in wave 4, or will it all just be re-releases?
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak
