So it has happened. Mistake or not. And that was over a week ago.

I'm more surprised their store had a working scanner than them being on clearance. The two stores I've been to have had the scanners disabled to keep people from touching them.

Best I can tell my local Target has never gotten either exclusive in stock. I signed up for stock notices and all I've gotten is a couple false notices of the Seekrs being online (as others have also complained about), but I haven't gotten one of those in weeks. The local store did have to shelves on the endcap tagged for the Seekers (bottom and middle), but no tags for the Clones. I really have no idea what's going on.

The Rainmaker set certainly isn't as popular as the Seeker set is, but I would wager the Micromaster set is as popular and I saw those get restocked a few times so I'm not too concerned. Scalpers aren't really a concern in my area, but competition with other collectors definitely is.

Just checked Target to see where the nearest stock is, 317 miles away, these guys aren't available in all of New England right now.

Well so the Target by me has two ER Starscreams and a Snapdragon (this was at 9:15 this evening).
A few days ago there were 3 Snapdragons.
A few Hoists and two Cliffjumpers (I caved and snagged one since it's still on that sale).
I'm not paying attention to micromasters, but had a few of those, The axe one, and a couple Rungs.
Nothing else (from Siege or ER).

I wouldn't bet on it, but I will be very surprised if stores in my area don't get any more of those 2 packs... I guess I'm starting to wonder, as an exclusive, how limited could the production run have been??

Also, just watched a review of Snapdragon... I wouldn't want that figure if someone gave it to me.
There isn't anything about that figure that I like... Imo the best mode is the ship (jet??), and even that's very mehhh to me.

Thats what I keep trying to tell myself, and I am usually the guy playing that reassuring song, but the Rainmakers also kept their shelf tags for that entire time, as far as I recall. But the shelf tag is gone, and another store is already clearancing out the Clone two pack, hence my concern

There's literally no way the clones pack is already going clearance, I won't believe it until I see the receipt; back on track, just keep up due diligence, browse the web page for it everyday, check the availability at every store you're willing to drive to, try to get it as an in-store pick-up if available, the earlier in the morning you do it, the higher the likelihood of getting it

I don't go up to that particular store often, had to take a co workwr home, but there was most definitely a yellow Clearence Sticker on the Clones shelf tag. I couldn't believe it either. That store was also clearencing the battle master guys, i almost bought a Soundbarrier for $4.18 but I just can't get into them

I've been having fun with this guy (these guys?) and I must say it's a lot of fun posing him (them?). I was worried about the bird's legs being too weak to support its body, but they're very sturdy ratchet joints. I'm not a big fan of the combined "vehicle" mode, because the bottom part makes the top part look to small. I hadn't noticed in the reviews. Overall, I'm happy with the figure, and it's a definite improvement over the previous commander class figure.

Hey Roddy, Hellscream, and anyone who has Sky Lynx...

Are you having any problems with the shuttle booster assembly tabbing in properly? Mine just won't stay tabbed. Feels like something is either warped or mis-molded.

Also in base mode, the pegs that hold the shuttle down to the Lynx section don't quite fit right, and over time the pressure causes the shuttle to slide up off the pegs. Kind of a bummer since this is the main connection point. Anybody having any issues there?

Other than those two little issues, I'm loving this figure! When I was a kid I thought he was the dumbest toy I had ever seen. In my old age, I've gained a real appreciation for derp and dumb.

It's tricky getting shuttle to tab into brick, you should be able to see if it's warped with a flashlight I think, it takes me a few tries to get it; and yeah the shuttle base mode connection is not very good, Thew spilled shuttle a few times, so I just make sure that nothing bumps it, but there is a tab at the base of the tail fin that connects to the ramp that helps a bunch

Yeah, I think that little tail fin tab is the only thing holding it together. That and gravity.

What about the whole booster assembly tabbing into the shuttle itself. i.e.the back door that closes off the accordion tail pieces. That's working ok on yours?

8-} Sorry, I must have fallen asleep when I read the bolded section above. It's been a day. Not sure what you mean about a flashlight, but that's ok. If it's warped, I doubt there's much I can do to fix it. Thanks for the reply, bro. ;)^

Edit: OH! There's your reply (second bolded thing). Looks like we're both slop doggin' it today.

I noticed a couple reviewers has issues with the shuttle in base mode so I was concerned, I posted about it a few weeks before I got Skylynx. But my fears were remedied, as you just really have to fit it in properly, unless some may actually have defective ones. Mine was able to tab in fairly securely.

oh and I just got shipping notice on Doubledealer form Amazon, should arrive Sunday. Now if I can just find that pesky elusive Slitherfang.

My primary Target has been stacked with them so I currently have five amassed over a couple of trips. I need two more Soundbarriers so I have equal amounts of both. Once Airwave drops I'll be interconnecting all the Micromaster bases. I hope we get 1 more Autobot base, I was out of collecting in the original Micromaster times so I have no idea who it could be. I just want two for each faction and I'd rather not have two Ironworks if there is another option.

Most fans seem to think that a Selects Hothouse will be coming from Airwave, so that should fulfill that want for both of us

Lol, that would have been less embarrassing as what they are currently doing. The three in the back are background dancers for diva Rung in the front. Tried to make the Rung from the spoiler pack look like he was laying down but he looks more like he fell.

Last night I had a very helpful Targét employee fish Snapdragon out of the back for me! Titans Return is what got be back into TF's so the headmaster gimmick is wonderful as is it's intergration into the kaiju mode. As for the rest of the figure I really do dig him, all the joints are mad tight and both modes fold away super cleanly. If I had to gripe it would be that he really doesn't have another spot for his guns in robot mode, but thats not a deal breaker by any means. Happily recommend him, a massive step up from Apeface and I'm glad I passed on him for this guy, any problems with the jet mode being incomplete or brick like Apes has been solved here

I have nothing but a hunch, which is most likely wrong, but tomorrow being August 1st, I have this feeling/hope that ER wave 2 deluxes are going to drop somewhere, not sure if walmart or target, but I just have this feeling. I know its completely unrelated , but the new walmart exclusive MOTU classics line is supposed to be available starting tomorrow. I've heard rumblings of different stores doing toy resets as well (why I had to fight to get Scorponok out of the back of a Target last Sunday)...

I'm usually really bad at this, but I did speculate on Warden's departure from the brand a couple days before he officially announced it (I hope I didn't will it to happen) :(. Now being fortunate enough to get SkyLynx and Scorponok fairly early, this is not like me at all.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Happily recommend him, a massive step up from Apeface and I'm glad I passed on him for this guy, any problems with the jet mode being incomplete or brick like Apes has been solved here
Besides Scorponok and the Coneheads, Snapdragon is the only other figure I need to get. I always thought that he and Apeface went together, so when I read that some collectors got one but not the other, or get one in place of the other, it kinda baffles me a bit. I know everyone has their own way of collecting, I just always thought of those 2 as a team, since they're both Horrorcons.

Clones are indeed being clearanced. I saw them in-store for the first time on July 20th and nabbed a pack for the regular retail price of $24.99. Went back to the same store on the 25th and saw them marked down about seven bucks. Returned to the same store again on the 30th...and now all of them have clearance tags marked at 50% off. I'm actually kind of irked about it. I do still have my receipt, but I doubt they do price adjustments on clearance items.

Found this pic on Twitter and it looks like you can keep Ironhide's roof on but then he has a dangle behind him. That's gonna make it hard to sit down ;)

If you haven't opened your set I'd totally go back... Saving almost $13 is worth it imo, and could be put towards something else, even if it's not TF-related.
And assuming you are going to buy another figure in the somewhat near future, why not try?
Customer service can't deny you returning it... Then have them ring it up at the new price...
That's not really asking that much, and don't think any Target employee is going to care.
Not to mention, anyone should understand someone wanting to save money.
It's not just a $3 difference, but even then, if you want to save $3, that's totally your choice.
Speaking of which, a $3 difference is what has an unopened Cliffjumper sitting in my 3rd bedroom right now next to an unopened Hotlink.
