Sorry..it took a while to convert from the other currency. So while Voyager Skywarp (+3 battle masters) will be Leader Price Point, so will the others, but the catch is... Firestormer & Slamdance are packaged together, I think very few remembered that, which I can understand as it seems to be quite an odd pairing, plus the chart was kind of cut-off etc....
So for *roughly* $50, you are getting 2 deluxes, and one BM, which is about $46 retail, so not that bad actually.

G2 Sideswipe instead is quite pointless, unless it is meant to represent a new character sharing its deco (something that I previously read referred to Soundblaster).
I'm curious about the Targetmasters, although Skywarp alone would justify getting them.
I guess in my "personal continuity" G2 Sideswipe would have to be a different character. Lambo? Spinout? Fish-Tail?
Spinout is already taken, he's the red redeco of Sunstreaker. And a Chef... Who got promoted to a field commander... Because the Cons ripped tjrough everyone else above the chain of command.
DeathReviews wrote:I want that Skywarp. But to pay Leader price just for 3 BattleMaster repaints? That's going to be a bitter pill to swallow.

Could always sell them on the aftermarket and get some money back. Personally I'm cool with it because I like those little guys but I've long been established as a sucker for 'gimmicks' (when they work, obviously...I've long criticized the poor quality of Cyberverse toys!).

It's not, thats just something fans tell themselves. But if you look at the generations line's more recent releases, the seekers were mostly mainline, ex: Generations Deluxe mold, Generations legend mold, generations leader mold. All 3 seekers for all those classes available at major retailers.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

I know I'm splitting a hair here, but as far as the Deluxe Classics Seekers, Skywarp was an exclusive to Target. Yes, a major retailer, but he was in the Target 2-pack along with the Ultra Magnus repaint of the Prime mold. Now I'm not sure if he was rereleased later in Generations, because I can't remember, because I found that 2-pack at retail, and never needed to look back.
But you are correct. It is something we tell ourselves. Especially for me when 2 of my 5 most favorite TF characters are Skywarp and Bluestreak. Two characters who more often than not get relegated to "always a bridesmaid, never a bride". If they are recognized at all.

Flashwave wrote:For the longest time though, TC was too. I think what really drove the whole Skywarp is an exclusove point was everyone remembers seeing him as a Walmart Exlcusive for the G1 style Movie Seeker mold and Masterpiece. Althought technically every Masterpiece is an exclusive and most of the G1 style movie seekers were too.

Out of everyone here she has me the most happy because I just don't have any version of her at all. She's one step towards my goal of getting all the Seasons 1 - the movie characters. Bring on Lancer.

Especially now that they're embracing Soundblaster as a separate entity from Soundwave.

Have I missed something? When did this news that sound blaster is separate to Soundwave come out? I know we're getting the toy as part of the 35th subset but as far as I'm aware that was it.
