Well I have mine. If anyone has a crappy one, with the box still, let us know what the production stamp is.

I have the same issue but I threw my packaging away just two days ago. Maybe I'll check if it's still in the paper container tomorrow.

Another thing I found just a couple of minutes ago: another hinch on Six-Gun :

As I can see you have a Six-Gun. Just compare. His hips can hinch a bit back. Maybe it's just the lower screw that acts like a hinch here - I haven't opened him (yet).

Ah yes, that's mentioned in the instructions as that joint is used to make the giant claw/hand.

Indeed But it's barely noticable. And doesn't make that weapon mode more stable.

Adding to the Ironhide data points, and a radically different production code stamp. On mine the leg panels are very loose, falling off at a touch. Production code: 10106. Received through BBTS

Well I was thinking about opening my Ironhide today (have had it for weeks from Pulse), but after all this I wanted to see what product code I had and how was the QC.

Code - 90081

Flaps peg into the leg well, not too tight not too loose, but the panels fall off the hinges very easily. Not enough to fall off by themselves, but the slightest touch pops them off.

I do see the issue with both. The hole that faces the front of the figure is slightly too small. A tiny hand drill would fix it right up.

But considering the pegs hold them on solid, I'm not worried about it. All other joints so far seem nice and snug as well.

Digging his hammer gun and I need to get him and TR Kup together to form a hollow windshield chest club. I dig it

So, it looks like 90081 is still too early in production for the flaps to be "fixed" in terms of staying on their friction hinge. I'll definitely be looking for an Ironhide that is at least as recent as Will's 90471 production run. I hope this really is a running change and not just luck of the draw quality control.

By the way, is it not fun to now say we all have a deluxe ironhide in our collecton? Like this guy is one of the main autobots, and yet only now do I actually have a figure I feel comfortable putting in a scene with all my CHUG figures. Right size and all that.

He's certainly far better than the Universe 2008, blue-faced, undersized panel line ridden "Ironhide" we've been putting up with for over 10 years. That mold is so ashamed of what it is that it can't even look you in the eye, lol! (Smart Points for anyone who understands that allusion!)

No smart points for me today. This guy is replacing my only other CHUG Ironhide which was Combiner Wars. CW wasn't a bad figure by any means, but not what I wanted in an Ironhide.

I definitely heard that. CW Ironhide was my Neo Classics version and it was a decent figure and before that it was Henkei Ironhide but now I have the perfect representation...'nuff said!

Sometimes those are the best finds, when you least expect it. Ive found Red Heat and Stakeout in stores but not this set. Of note, SS38 is hard to find for sure. In VA, where i live, Ive only come across three and that was one in each store. He doesn't seem to hang out long.

Found a Skytread last night. Haven't seen any of the Wave 1 deluxes in months. Since I took the plunge, I have everything (that I'm getting...which means no Cog, no Sixgun, no Micromasters, probably no Galaxy Upgrade Prime) except Sideswipe, Hound and Cassettes and Aimless.
