The way I see it, we already
got a SIEGE Astrotrain..
It just came out 2 years early during Titans Return
Hopefully the Astrotrain from the next part of the trilogy will have a steam engine mode. It's also good to hear about Apeface.
I think I agree with you on TR Astrotrain being compatible with Siege. He is in scale, has a cartoon accurate robot mode, and has recently "Cybertronian" alt modes that still scream Astrotrain to me. If he had waist rotation and ankle tilts, he would be on par with Siege completely.
I'll still wait for that rumored Leader Astrotrain, because if it's cartoon accurate with the G1 alt modes, I'll use that as my Earth CHUG Astrotrain.

I can sorta see where you are coming from, but for me, (insert unpopular opinion here), I prefer the Generations figure. I thought that was Straxus for me, and I don't really need another one for a while. Jhiaxus on the other hand, yeah, we need a new one of him.
I too am fine with the Generations version of Straxus. It has his signature weapon, it has decent articulation and resembles him in robot mode,
and it can be configured into his "flying gun turret" altmode from the comics - which I somehow doubt the SIEGE Impactor mold could pull off.
Agreed about Jhiaxus. What would you say to adapting the SIEGE Seeker mold as him?[/quote]
I don't know about the Siege Seeker mold. For one, I wouldn't mind seeing a new head retool of the Siege Seeker mold, but I would love to see something different for him, instead of repeating what happened in T30. A new mold would be nice, but that's probably wishful thinking.
One's red one's blue sometimes I want to ask god why he's played this cruel joke on us
