For some reason, Crosshairs looks much better in these photos compared to previous images

For some reason, I'm turned off by the lack of a Targetmaster. I guess he could always roll with one of the existing...

... or wait for one to be released like with Spinister's Singe and Shrute. Trenchfoot is a pretty close match to Pinpointer, in fact.

Yeah, I keep waffling on whether I want to get that pack. G2 Sideswipe is cool and all that, but he has to be a different character on my shelf.

Trenchfoot will become Pinpointer for me eventually. I think that is who he was intended to be

Hm, Astrotrain looks cool. I find it a little bit wierd though that his extras left over from his train mode just becomes... A box. Hopefully there's some way to integrate it a bit better. That said, he's cool for those that want him.

Hm, Astrotrain looks cool. I find it a little bit wierd though that his extras left over from his train mode just becomes... A box. Hopefully there's some way to integrate it a bit better. That said, he's cool for those that want him.

No matter what, his shoes will never be as snazzy as TR Astrotrain's.

Crosshair is an instant mine! Spinster I was all excited for. Cool dude, cool guns, cool alt mode. But then I saw the tail rotor behind his head in robot mode. No matter how I try, I cannot unsee that. Pass

This big leader size figure (with shoes on) is as big as a deluxe sized spinnister...yay? The price points for the so called leader figures suck so I'll definitely be sticking with TR astro train.

It's all mass, not height. Besides, Astrotrain's is measured from the top of his head, while Spinister's is measured from the top of rotor, well above his head. The former is bulkier too, but could still be considered a Voyager with add-ons.

Siege is about scale. Astrotrain is not bigger than megatron so anyone hoping for a larger base figure was setting themselves up for dissapointment. Plus, I dont want my astrotrain leader sized, it makes no sense. If you don't like the approach you can always wait for a sale (as I will) or not buy it.

Thanks to fellow Seibertronian TFanPage101 we've learned of a new post to Snakas.blog, this time showing the Transformers War for Cybertron Siege Refraktor Reconnaissance Team with Spectro, Spyglass, and Viewfinder. The set also includes the fireblast effect sidekick character Kremzeek. Unlike the main release which has fans assembling three identical Refraktors (or Reflectors) as they appeared in the cartoon, this set has three individual Refraktors, each repainted and armed with unique accessories that makes them look much more like their G1 toy counterparts. The additional accessories also add to the camera mode making a more realistic looking camera. Also included are images of the packaging with insert art that was previously noted as 'leaking' this sets additional accessories. The set is currently expected in October 2019 and is available for pre-order at Entertainment Earth for $69.99, Big Bad Toy Store for $71.99, and the Chosen Prime for $71.99. I finally moved heavens and Earth and and scored a Jetfire. I was so stoked but his battle mask won’t stay on. Has anyone had this issue? Am I missing something?

Inside the battle mask, there's a peg that pushes into a spring loaded squarish panel on Jetfire's forehead.. are you pushing it in all the way until it clicks?

The more I see of Astrotrain the more I love him. The shoes are a bit weird but I do love the tread detail on them.

I just noticed that the "REFRAKTOR" label on the front of it's camera mode has a design error in its typeface. The "R" at the beginning of "REFRAKTOR" is slanted correctly, but the "R" at the end of the word is not slanted at all. A reprolabel would fix that!

Either way the odd bot out is going to get a faction symbol put on him, unlike ultra magnus that has no smooth spaces for where he should have a faction symbol.

It's not just that the Wreckers symbol is blue, but that it has a hammer inside it.

Good spot... however, went to check the g1 toy pix and they are indeed apeing the original g1 sticker... the first r is slanted, the last isn’t.


Re astrotrain.. would’ve loved a larger figure to go toe to toe with jetfire, though the original robot scale means he should be a voyager... I enjoyed every iteration of astrotrain so far... will enjoy this one too. And yes, the cybertronian flip flops are weird,

Not a design error, thats 100% G1 accurate.
