But what is the current (or previous scale?)

Ever since the bulk of Legends class became only small characters the closest thing they had to scale was mainly the G1 toy line with a few exceptions and Leader class mostly being its own scale throughout Prime Wars (Ultra Magnus being the only real outlier, a few others can work both ways). More than anything, until now scale wasn't a major consideration, they just did whatever worked at the time (like all Triplechangers being Voyagers even if it made them all giants).

Granted I would argue the triple changers should be that large or even bigger in the cases of Astrotrain and Broadside (Who I think should both be leader class)

Likewise. I've only been seriously collecting since Combiner Wars (though I've gotten together the odd T30 and previous generations figure as well) and I would argue that most of the figures from CW onward (save some of the leader classes like POTP Optimus or CW Megatron who are too large) scale pretty welll together.

I would love to see an exclusive "Shackwave" or "Radioshock". That would be awesome. But only if they can get away with using one of those names. Diaclone Magnus (or Delta Magnus) would be great also.
D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Well, crap.
Those in-hand shots might have sold me on actually getting Prime. While I wish he was a bit closer to the white Magnus Prime robot, the transformation, the alt mode, the weathering, finally having a Prime with a frikkin metal-as-hell AXE, and the ability to combine with Weaponizers is pretty awesome.
I will cut it off at those 2 voyagers for sure. No Wave, no Starscream, no Springer.
...ok maybe Thundercracker cause he's my absolute favorite seeker.

Over the last few of years I've really come to appreciate kibble and I've always liked to see the alt-mode parts in robot mode.ScottyP wrote:Skritz wrote:It's funny you say that because this same design standard is what, years ago, had people whining about overly large and intrusive 'kibble'.
Kibble is the spice of life when it comes to Transformers. Too much can be a bad thing, but without enough you just have...And I'm not here for that. A sleek robot with a piece of a car sticking off is part of the charm. Without it, it doesn't look like they're trying to be "robots in disguise"!Seibertron wrote:a standard humanoid robot form.
