Seibertron.com member Albastross250 has let us know about some new stock photography from Takara Tomy, originally posted to the
Transformers Never Die Facebook page. The images are of the upcoming Transformers: SIEGE Commander Class Jetfire and Deluxe Class Weaponizer Brunt! The pictures show off each figure in various configurations, a theme common to the SIEGE line.
We get some good shots of Jetfire in alt mode and standard robot mode (the G1 cartoon character model) and his "super mode" featuring add-on weapons and armor pieces that make him look more like his G1 toy self. There are two interesting points we learn here. The battle damage, which was hard to see on the at-show samples at Wonderfest recently, is definitely still there, featuring a "dirt wash" on the robot mode from the waist downward. Second, Jetfire is sporting a Decepticon faction logo on his chest in robot mode. It's unclear if this is an optional sticker that has been applied, if there is a faction symbol changing gimmick built into the toy, or if this is a change made by Takara Tomy and/or Hasbro. Of note, all other faction logos associated with this Jetfire toy are the Autobot brand.
Brunt is a little more straight forward. We see him in both altmode and robot mode, as well as disassembled into his component parts. SIEGE Deluxe Class Skytread (a.k.a., Flywheels) is used to demonstrate some possible configurations for outfitting your SIEGE figures with weapons, armor, and other gear provided by Brunt. One change we've seen with these pictures, however, is the lack of orange plastic or paint on the tank cannon that was seen in earlier renderings of this character.
Finally, we also have a bit of information from
Loopaza Mega Store on when these figures will be hitting the Japanese market. They are slated, apparently, for a June 2019 release at a price of 3,500 JPY for Brunt and 18,000 JPY for Jetfire. Take a look at the pictures and these listings for yourselves below!
